Don't get me wrong. I understand why they want to get support from the players. But when they want money for a fan project, then it's more likely that Blizzard will shut it down. I think.

I ain't saying that hosint is free. But if they can't afford it themselves, then it's pretty stupid to make a project like this. I just fear Blizzard can shut it down when they ask of money.

So if people don't pay for the servers ,will they be put down? It's actually kinda a request of some sort of monthly fee, which probably will get Blizzards attention.

I know it might be complicated for the team to do, but it would be awesome to have some sort of game client authenticator. 2FA is good on the website, but I feel like my actual game account is more vulnerable than the one in here.

2FA doesn't change the security on game servers though?

It's very neat we got 2FA on the website, but what about the game client? It is possible to be hacked, and get all your chars and stuff deleted.

Any ETA or information on when the login server is up and running again? It just hangs on Authentication.

Why did they namechange the server? was the Nostalrius name too famous?

Ah okay thanks for the quick reply :) That was nice to hear. Do we know though if it will take minutes or hours from now?

I just started on Nostalrius this week.. Does it mean my char gets wiped? Also, when are servers up again?

No one knows a possible fix for this?

My girlfriend (level 12 undead priest) has this problem that when she has completed a quest, she cannot see which rewards she can use. Normally, when you cannot use a specific item, the item is red and the item type is red, hers, however, all show like she can use them. The only Addon we both use is the quest helper addon called !Questie.

I've solved the problem! I had to go into Control Panel and send e-mail verification :)

I am having a new problem. I have changed the realmlist.wtf to: "set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org" But it seems like the game still tries to go up on the normal World of Warcraft server, because it's saying: "The World of Warcraft account has been closed and is no longer able to use". I cannot have been banned for anything, because I haven't logged in at all into the game yet.
