    it's 16:08 in China, people there are getting off work/school. I'm not trying to be some conspiracy nut or anything, but it is quite clear to me that when they try to mass-connect to the server & get past authenticate. It puts a lot more load on the login servers. Could be because of their high latency that results in that it takes longer to process each connection attempt. Just stating the obvious of what I have noticed
