While the first part work (equip and activate), the unbuff part is not working for me (it does nothing, the buff always have full duration). I used the supermacro from the link provided in the github megathread. Anybody have that problem ?

Hello Does anyone here have some experience with xkbcomp ? Once remapped, i have a bug i can't find any answer on the internet, so far... (several days i'm on it).

Thank you anyway for tour answer. I managed to find the bug tracker for xkbcomp, it seem abandoned : it depends of x.org, but the issues related to xkbcomp can be as old as 12y, and don't have any dev answer. I suppose it's game over for me: i tried several other remapers, but none of them work. Classic is in a few months, i'll try to solve my problem before, but else, i suppose it's back to Windows (and that suck, as a full time Linux user since nearly a decade).

/configuration I use a keyboard, a mice (currently Roccat Nyth), and a Tartarus Chroma v2 (a sort of mini keyboard for just one hand). And other input peripherals non related to my problem. When i play WoW, it's with Tartarus+mice. I barely touch the keyboard. The Tartarus, by default, is mapped as a regular keyboard, which is unsuitable for my needs. It don't have any usable driver for linux (openrazer have an open issue for the Tartarus since years, so i don't expect it to work soon, if ever). But it can be remapped with xkbcomp, as i learned on this page: https://lampjs.wordpress.com/2015/06/26/remapchange-your-secondaryusb-keyboard-keys/ There is my dump (without remapping) xkb file: https://pastebin.com/XpR9RDPd There is my remapped file: https://pastebin.com/3pXSKiWX It seem to work: checking with xev, i can confirm i have the remapped keys i want on the Tartarus, while the regular keyboard keys are unchanged. /problem When i use any key of the Tartarus with any modifier (shift, ctrl, alt), it switch back to it's unmapped state, and became "stuck" in that state until i press the physical key who is bind to that unmapped state (usually on my regular keyboard, but it also work with the Tartarus), to "unstuck" it (and it also make it switch back to it's mapped state). If i unmap the Tartarus, i can't reproduce the problem, so i highly suspect my configuration file to be bad. But i have no idea what's wrong in it... I read the Arch Wiki page about xkbcomp, but barely understood it.

So, after talking a bit about that here, i did a lot more runs. I have the very vague feeling that on the 9 possible spots (to be confirmed, it's retail information), there is always one with a dusty tome... and that's all. At least, i never found a second tome in the same run. With my path, i usually get 1 tome in 5 runs (the 5 runs take me around 15min). My path, solo, is : i totally skip DMW, because i can't get any solo. I do the 2 first places in DMN, then i reset and camp. It takes me around 2.5min (less than 3 if i grab a tome). In the last run before being locked out, i came back to entrance of DMN after checking the 2 places, then go to DME main entrance. I jump to the left, follow the north then east wall to the enter in daemon zone and go check lethandris spot. Then i camp, or HS. Here are the spots i can confirm (feel free to complete/correct me): DM North: Near the Southwest Corner in Fengus' Courtyard : confirmed. Any stealthed class can get it with no fight. Under the ramp near which Slip'kik patrols : confirmed. You need imp sap to get it with no fight (you still can sap one and blind the other, so only rogues can get that tome). Directly behind the Observer : unconfirmed (that's a long walk, and as i can't sap a boss, i only tried the place when i was not alone) DM East: Near Lethtendris : confirmed. Any stealthed class can get it with no fight. In the big drop down area at entrance, middle along the east wall : unconfirmed North end of the ledge (directly above the big door), between a pack of lashers and a big tree : confirmed. Impossible to get without fighting a big tree (who break stealth from far away - bug ?), and a pack of non elite trees. The tome is actually near the edge, after the last pack of non elite trees. In the Shrine of Eldretharr (End of the instance, by the root that Alzzin the Wildshaper walks up to) : confirmed DM West: The Southwest corner of the first courtyard : confirmed. It's the nearest of any entrance of all tomes (you get there in 10s), but near a pack of trees - right on the bench. I suppose any class with a pet, a fear, a frost nova, can grab it. In Immol'thar's room by the pylon to the left as you enter (hall entrance, not library) : confirmed (any class can get it, you don't need stealth) If only i was able to read the source code published on github by the elysium team, i could avoid those empirical confirmations, and know exactly where it can spawn, if my feeling of "one in any DM" is true, and what it can gives... So far, some blue class books, and a ton of greys. No foror ^^

Sure. But it's a bit overkill to have just that function :D

Is there a way to have it as a stand alone addon ?

I found it. But there is 2 differents ways to get it ? I used "buffs to track" under "auratracker", but i suppose "aura">"buffs">"emphasize" could have done the job too. I can't call buffing gameplay : it's just a chore, anything that can get it out of the way is welcome. I finally opted for XRS, who can fine check buffs (checking thorns only for classes that can tank, for exemple), and spambuff without targetting.

Is there a way to use Luna as a buff checker in raid (i checked the raid part, but i can't find any option for that) ? As a druid, i would like to see who is buffed, and who is not (and even better : who is buffed with imp MotW, and who only have the regular one - same for thorns). If It's impossible, what addon do you use for that ? I remember in retail TBC, i used something to spamcast Int on anybody who have not. The addon was even smart enough to cast a single buff or group buff considering situation (mana user, consumable avaible, mana left, number of people who need it, in fight, pvp plague avoidance, and so on).

Hello 1) The "solo BRD" spec After i saw severals videos of rogues farming BRD, i wanted to give it a try (especially for killing Pyromancer Loregrain). I made that spec, aiming at maximum stealth (for pickpocket on the go), fastest movement (lot of walk in stealth), and lot of solo survivability and combo generation ("setup" combining with "ghostly strike" and "lightning reflexes"). The goal was to kill something fast enough for then vanish, and doing it again without waiting too much, thanks to "preparation". It totally failed : my rogue is just an alt, with only green leveling gear. I just can't kill anything fast enough before i need to vanish. Also, pickpocketing a ton of mobs is fun the first minute, then become a chore, and the rare spawn around 1 time on 10 resets, making me usually locked out. I droped the idea. 2) The "i don't want to die" spec This time, i try to get "dusty tomes" from DM (i never saw any so far on Darrowshire... i hope they do exist ^^). There's no way i can solo any of these packs, so i go naked, with only a pair of LW boots with +stealth and speed enchant. My point is doing a quick scouting, and asking for help if i find a tome (the help is usually just another player that can aggro and flee while i loot, or the opposite if he don't have a way to reset aggro). So far, DME seem impossible : the bigs trees make my stealth disapear (is it a bug ?), i can't pass them... until i got that spec idea : the point is to gouge/blind them, go enough away to make their antistealth thing irrelevant, and vanish. And repeat. Kinda tedious as soon as there is more than 2 of them in a row (and there is, iirc). DMW seem very easy to scout (as long as you don't go in the zone with invisible mobs), but i haven't see any tome in around 20 runs. DMN is easy too (also, no tome in several runs). 3) your spec Do you use some peculiar spec for certain situation too ?

On Darrowshire, my server, there's a mostly inexistant stealth runs community (i did some, tho, but mainly with some friends/guildies - no one ever ask for in world chat). So i created the channel "stealthruns", in a hope to change that (/join stealthruns). Some runs (feel free to add yours) : - farming the rare in BRD (geared/skilled rogues can solo it, i suppose, but i can't with my druid, so i duo it, until he dropped the recipe) - farming the gems in LBRS (the troll can be killed in 5min - for the full run -, with no needed fight in between. It's a piece of cake in prebis gear - again, with my tank druid, and any healer. The oger is a bit more dangerous, because of his adds, but still can be duo. I did not even tried the last boss - i never been able to make a stealthed run with more than 2 peoples) - farming the dusty tomes - i plan to farm the Warder Stilgiss in BRD (nobody ever goes there, unfortunately : he drops the BiS dps shoulders before AQ). - the ghosts in the first room of Scholo, for the recipe (well, not stealthed, actually, as you have to kill most of the packs - but you can duo it with a healer, and some rogue said me, with a very good gear he can solo them) - Lord Incendius in BRD (i still can't solo it... but Rubix did it) - the barman in BRD, for the engineering recipe - Zul Farrak (i don't know what gear have that guy, but with my slightly above preBiS tank gear, this boss kills me 100% - also, the scarabs are mostly empty, and can't be skinned) - Sunken Temple (edit: it's totally different on our server. I can't cope solo with all the non elite serpents - the elites are weak, tho. I suppose a prot paladin can solo that event) - a lot more i forget

Ok, thx for the info. I updated some places. I also did 2 full runs with Nihlo, and i get more and more the feeling than there is allways a tome in DM, but only one. So maybe it make sense to reset right after you found one (it could be great if some coder can confirm that by reading the source code).

I updated some spots. Also, i took a look at the database (4 months old, i'm pretty sure they don't use that exact one now). I opened it in a text editor, and find several occurences of "dusty tome", with a ton of numbers around. I bet they explain where it spawn, what's inside, and so on. No idea how to translate that in human language ^^

Great run :) But why the "convert to raid" part ? When i duoed the gems in lbrs, we just alt-f4, wait 5mins, log back in. It did the same as /camp on a solo run (i don't know how these things works, tbh, i just did them).

I do that :) Just 2 or 3 times a day, i don't want to flood classes that don't care about that. We need healers ^^ That's allways the missing element in a stealth run, so far.

And also the number of greeders/needers/passers, like here :)

I found several old addons who do that, but only for specific classes. Do you know one who is classless ? If not, which one do you use for which class ?

Hello Asking for the same question (the answer seem to have disapear). What is the max stealth level you can get ? How ? Is there a cap where any more point is useless ? So far, i only found the LW boots, the elf racial, and the classes skills who give a bonus. But i'm pretty sure i saw other items with +stealth, while i was leveling - too bad i can't remember them.

It's not working for me. The /mtta part is working, not the /mtts (the spell launch, but the icon is still the generic one i choose when i create the macro).

At 2:08 in this video, we can see frames pop up for loot. It has the number of people who greed or need on the buttons for greed or need. This is brillant (for DE situation, for avoiding asking if someone need, and so on), i'm looking for that for a long time (i know i used something similar, back in the days). Do you know the name of that addon, and where i can find it ?

I used Xloot, and i can confirm it did not show who need and who greed. I suppose the addon doing that is XLootGroup (for checking the author site). And i haven't found a working vanilla version. I also used SmallerRollFrame, who did not. Currently using SmartLoot, who also do not.

I concur with Wulf. Also : Bagnon and Banknon, to know the place of all your stuff, on every alt, everywhere. Autobar, to have allways the most usefull item at hand. Blizzplates, because not being able to clickthrough an ennemy nameplate is a pain (especially when you tank). ClassicSnowFall, because why waiting for a keypress ? Crafty, because crafting with the basic UI quickly becomes a mess. EQcompare, to immediatly know if you should equip/need that new stuff or not. Flightmap, to know if the fly time is "grab a beer" or "take a nap". Fubar and BagFu (allways see how much empty place is left in your bags), Duratek (allways see the state of your armor), FriendsFu and GuildFu (easy management of guildmates and friends), MoneyFu (know where is your gold), PerformancesFu (allways see your fps and ping) IgnoreMore (share your ignore list whith all your alts - invaluable if you play multiples alts) IgnorePlayer (so far, the only antispam addon working for me : very basic, just a black list of words) Lazypig (autodismount, autohandin quests, and a bunch of other QoL things) MrPlow (clean your bags and banks) OmniCC (put a timer on your cooldowns, in your bars) Postal, to make mail a breeze. Prat, to optimise your use of the chat. SmarLoot (take less space, and autoconfirm BoP items) !Toggle, to avoid losing autoattack.
