I am writing this while being 9k in queue...
I find it interesting that those complaining have no memory of how WoW launched initially. Blizzard, who was making TONS of money, had to give out almost 14 days of free time over the course of the first month because of login issues. That was still considered a good launch... when so many people could not log in... many people crammed into like 5 servers and queue times were terrible... that is why they offered free migration to other servers... It was a few months before the game ran "smoothly"...
When I hopped on Retail the night the game dropped I was lucky... I got into Illidan just before log-in servers went to crap... I was able to stay online 24 hours ( way to damn long) and play while my friends had to sit around twiddling their thumbs.
The people that run this, do so for free... They make no money from us and they have had a much better launch that Blizzard did. I was pissed when I dropped from queue last night right before I got in, and when I got it to make a character only to disconnect during that characters actual creation... i was not pissed at the guys running the show here though, just my bad luck. None of us here are owed anything, we are not entitled to even play Vanilla WoW... I understand expectations being high, but remember... odds are you pay way less for this than you would/did for the actual game. Remember to breathe and have some fun......... as soon as you can log in...
