  1. Hi all, Previously I was a pvper in vanilla and got to rank 12 and 1 week from 13 but due to work, real life and a hardcore Russian guild I was unable to hit the magic 13 :( I have joined nost pve with the aim to pvp since I play wow retail so don't have much time for raiding (may not have to much time for pvp ranking other but I will try!). I was wondering if it would be good to have an automatic exclusion from the honour scoring for rank 14's so they can still support there team who are also going for max ranks without effecting the next person aiming for 14. Also having a command allowing yourself to be exempt from ranking if you only aim for 13 would also be useful (similar to the stop xp command for twinks), this means ranking teams can help assist the rest of the team without negatively effecting there fellow team mates reaching the ultimate vanilla pvp accolade. apologies if this has been suggested but I couldn't find this topic when I searched for this. thanks! namus
  2. Howdy folks, just wanted to discuss the future of nost pvp (I am a new player on the nost pve server), I know one of the issues going forward is whether this server naturally follows the release of TBC, obviously not by the same timelines as blizz as no one will get the chance to clear naxx (which was always an issue for me in vanilla back in the day). if say a new server is created with the ability for players to transfer their toons to the new realm which will be a TBC realm I was wondering if there will be any development on the previous vanilla realm? I know a lot of people prefer vanilla and would love to continue to play but I was wondering if the dev's have the capability to tune all of the raid and dungeon content and create custom gear? what I am basically saying like retail do the dev's have the skills to create a heroic/mythic mode for all raid content and 5 mans and the ability to create new custom gear to support this to try and extend the content within a vanilla realm? this could also apply to pvp to create a season 2 set (just the same set but higher stats and need to re-buy it). I know Elysium want to keep the wow experience authentic but at least creating harder difficulties in current raid content may breathe more life into the old dog long after TBC has dropped (if that is destined to be the future).

    Don't open 4th server

I think a new server would be a good idea but make a pve server and have a cap like the current nost pve of 6k so you have a flex of 4-5k people in the queues which in time will vanish and having a lower pop than the new pvp realm might be a sensible move. queues are a good thing means alot of people want to play but I agree it will reduce in a few weeks/months. but let's hope the population continues to remain high! we have also the future of nost pvp to consider of whether it gradually becomes a tbc server so people not wanting to move will need a home and this new server could help support that potential player migration.
