Again, I said that I AVOIDED Nost because everybody seemed very far up their own bumbums. It seems a bit different here, the people are nicer, and they convinced me to try it. And heck, I actually like it. You know you don't have to despise something to avoid trying it, yeah? I didn't like it before so I avoided it, and now I'm enjoying myself despite the past. I'm sorry that for whatever reason triggers you so very badly.

Did you miss the part where I said I started to play here because friends did and enjoyed it because it's a bit different, and replace it with "I despise Nostralius?" I think you diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid.

This is my first time posting here, and I've only recently joined Elysium when they launched the fresh-start servers. Allow me to explain why: I played World of Warcraft since release, and stopped after WotLK was released because the game had changed just a bit too much to justify me paying for it monthly. The game actually ate up a big chunk of my life, to the point where it wasn't very healthy - but I grew out of that, as so many other of us did, and nostalgia brought me back to vanilla servers a few years ago. I played on so many, but purposely avoided Nost because I heard they had a very divided and sometimes juvenile staff. When I heard that Elysium was putting up a fresh start server, I was actually very interested...especially since ALL of my friends planned to play there. So, I started learning about what Nost's deal was (Like a lot of you, I saw a lot of my favorite youtubers talking about it from time to time as well.) This is a completely outside perspective, because I never played on Nost, and don't give a single floating вау about it, so I could be completely off-base and just talking from my middle aged high horse here...but what they're doing here is just as up-their-own-попа and ridiculous as I believe they always were. I avoided that server because the team seemed like they were the "WE'RE THE ONLY GOOD GUYS IN THE WORLD" type, completely self-serving, completely full of themselves, and considered themselves to be some sort of heroes. But they were just the staff of a private server. вау, -I- have been staff on a private server. So to me, this doesn't seem like "the opposite of what they said they stood for", but in fact seems like exactly what I expected them to say. That's the reason I never bothered playing there. Good on you, Elysium. I plan on staying here for as long as I can, and all of my friends are enjoying it too. I mean if we weren't, why the hell would we sit in queue for hours? This is a great server, and I'm very, very glad you're not going anywhere. TL;DR - Nost always seemed like it was run by smarmy cucks, and I'm glad Elysium is different. Keep on doing you guys, you're doing great.
