If you're not sharing the account it does not matter what level the char is. If you consider it a guild bank, alt bank, golden fox pesky bandana or groot, that's no ones business as long as you don't violate multiboxing rules or somthing.

I hade this happen once or twice, a re-log solved the problem.

I run with the same .exe, but I have two shortcuts pointing to it. On one of the shortcuts I have the -windowed switch specified (I run my main account on full screen and bank alt account windowed, makes it easier to keep track when alt-tabing between them) Edit: Win 10 and Nvidia

If 2fa really was active you could be a victim of what is called "rare server error" or something in the ToU. I suspect this happend on one of my alts when it was in it's early teens, one day I logged on and no gold or items in the bags, still had all equipped items and bank. The total loss was < 2 gold so I didn't bother really, and I haven't seen it happen again. There's also been rumors on sneaky addons that can email gold automatically as you interact with mailboxes, not sure if that includes items though.

You are not making sense. In a previous post one of your points was that you could be raiding with multiple guilds. If you have that kind of time you sure have time to level at least two lvl 60 chars in vanilla. This is not an instant gratification server, but there are others out there that allow multiboxing and also have increased xp gain.

Server economy is fine, changing stance on this now would likely screw up the economy though. I can't see how faking the population numbers with multiboxing would help low pop servers to be honest. What's keeping you from raiding with multiple guilds right now? I'm sure that many players have at least one alt, I myself have two accounts with multiple alts on both so I can adapt to the situation, someones been yelling for 15 minutes for a tank to do X? I log one of my tanks and so on. I'm proud of my characters because I know I put in some effort levelling them in a legit way, earning every single piece of equipment (not so proud when thinking about time invested though). In my opinion the only ones who really gain something from multiboxing are cheater, botters, gold sellers and similar scum.

The Elysium project wouldn't gain anything from allowing multiboxing, it would only increase the strain on infrastructure. Blizz have all the $ reasons in the world to allow it.

That would probably be all Blizzard needs to shut things down. As soon as there's being official money involved it's so much easier for software companies to get law suites going.
