Agreed, there are major problems with your WoW folder. How are you even launching WoW without WoW.exe of Launcher.exe? In any case, this problem (missing Addons button) can be caused if your WoW folder is located in C:\Program Files. Did you perhaps move it before you posted the screen shot?

There are two options at the bottom of the logon screen in Control Panel on the Elysium website. One is "Forgot your password?" and the other is "Recover your Nostalrius Account". Are you choosing the correct option?

You may need to contact your ISP. I was having problems receiving e-mails from Elysium. I contacted my ISP and discovered they were blocking all e-mails from Elysium...for everyone, not just me. They unblocked at my request and I've had no problems since.

Is your WoW installation folder in C:\Program Files? If so, move it. Modern versions of Windows don't like programs trying to modify the content of this folder.

The sellers also get gold to sell by hacking player accounts and stripping them of their money. That's happened to several of my guild members (most of whom admit to poor security on their part).

When you use the Control Panel method, log out of the Control Panel and wait a couple of minutes before you click the link in the e-mail. When you use the in-game method, don't include the # sign in either the old or new passwords.

I've seen a couple of cases where when someone tried to change their password in-game, they received an error that the old password was incorrect because they were preceding it with the # character. Don't include that character; it's just provided in the instructions to indicate a variable where the variable = oldpassword or newpassword.

I'm not having any problems either. You mentioned Skyrim, but that's not an Internet-based game (even if you have the Steam version, the intensity of Internet traffic doesn't compare to an MMO). How about other MMO's? If your desktop computer works fine with MMO's, but your laptop doesn't, it might be a connectivity issue withe laptop itself. If you haven't tried a wired connection between your laptop and modem/router, that would be a worthwhile test. Eliminating wifi from the mix may narrow down the problem.

If i want to write in it, I have to leave and re-join World chat every time I log in. Bit of a pain, but I can live with it.

The leaked database belonged to another private server and only affected Elysium users if they used the same credentials on both servers. However, one of my guildmates has never been on a private server before, and he was hacked. He said his password was a random string of characters and numbers. So we have no clue how that one happened. Another guildmate was also compromised, but she can't swear she didn't re-use credentials from another private server. I've not heard of anyone with 2FA being compromised. A recent post by the Elysium devs said that only 1% of Elysium accounts are using 2FA, so it's a good bet that any compromised account isn't using it.

Haven't heard anyone else complain about this. Not to point out the obvious...but are your pets dying and you're not rezzing them? If your pet dies and you leave its corpse behind, or if you log out and log back in, it won't appear until you summon it, and when you do summon it, it will be dead and you'll have to rez it.

You won't ALWAYS be stuck in combat if you sheep/fear/whatever and run away. But yeah, leaving behind a mob is what causes it. So when you're stuck in combat turn around and kill whatever mob you left behind. Sometimes I'm not sure which one it is and will have to kill everything in the immediate area.

I, too, had the problem where I was unable to receive the e-mail to enable two-factor authentication. A call to my ISP revealed that they were blocking all e-mails from Elysium-Project.org, not just for me, for all of their customers. Once I got them to unblock it, I was able to receive the mail for two-factor authentication.

I doubt this is the problem, but just in case....don't close the Google Authenticator app before you've entered the code into the WoW client.

Also make sure your game isn't in C:\Program Files. Put it in a place like C:\Games. Windows computers make it difficult to alter files in C:\Program Files.

I finally had enough and installed this yesterday, using Alexensual's files. I haven't seen a gold spam since...not in Trade, not in General, not in whispers. Zero. Two thumbs up.

Comcast is a huge ISP in the USA. E-mails from Elysium-Project.org were being blocked for the entire Comcast domain. According to them, this was based on spam reports from Comcast users. In any case, this made it impossible for players with Comcast e-mail addresses to register for the game, the forums or to enable dual-factor authentication. I had them unblock Elysium, but I was warned it could be blocked again. Just FYI for any other Comcast users out there.
