It could be part of the problem with Stealth to begin with. On a Rogue, the only way I could Stealth up to anything (without Talents) was from behind. If I was in front, I may as well not have been Stealthing at all.

I generally follow it, and now that it was described I remember it being talked about. I remember first after Retail Launch, I was talking to the Bear Spirit when my character was wrapped by Roots. I turned around and a NElf started OOMspamming me. Fortunately, I was well armored, being a Leatherworker, and more importantly, had gotten the wonderful Cauldron-Stirrer Staff before doing the Bear quest, and taught the NElf the error of not keeping the peace in Moonglade.

Got the quest from a T Bluff Trainer. And while they may be the same cost, when you get them is incredibly different. And hey, you don't have to pay for it and get XP for getting it.

One time on Retail, I was starting a new Orc character and a NElf Charmed Sarkoth, Flagged, and then used his Stealth Racial to hide in the same area waiting for newbies to come hunting the Quest Mob. It had been a while since I had started an Orc character and thought it was odd that Sarkoth had a Focus bar. I then found out why he had a Focus bar when I went to go hit him for the Quest and then got 1-shotted by that griefing NElf.

I don't have a high enough Druid to know, but I seem to remember ti was initiated at a trainer at T Bluff or the Barrens. It has been a really long time since I ran that quest. But she's not that far from it, so I could get there rather soon. It's at level 14, right?

I played in Vanilla, and was a frequent on the forums. I do not remember this code of which you speak.

Horde Race/class balance data here

Everyone has different opinions on what are the best racials. But let's face it, not worrying to breathe and not needing a trinket for those dungeon/raid encounters which Charm/Fear/etc can be huge in many cases which have annoyed experienced players. Then add on the dark/emo aspect of playing a lucid zombie, and there you go. Their stats, though, are best for casters at lower level, making their ability to play the Rogue and Warrior as less effective (though, still fun) just like doing a clothie can be less effective early on for the Orc or Troll. -
Why the huge gap in population

I came from Dark Age of Camelot. Their RvR is nothing like WoW PvP. I started on a PvP server when retail launched, but changed to PvE because of friends and some rather obnoxious player sets I found on that server making it difficult to do much of anything. But I have found that there are players who are even more obnoxious on retail's PvE servers, too. They kill quest-givers, flight points, and even a city's bankers for gits and shiggles. I can understand going out to fight other players out in the field, but this kind of behavior is just asshattery. -
How is this realm on classes?

Healing as a Druid can be a challenge. Its gear is not easily available, and the only rez is the Battle Rez which requires a Reagent. -
A/H horde balance on Nostalrius PvE
Charistoph replied to Kazuma's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
It has always been thus in the World of Warcraft. The good news is such an imbalance doesn't harm things as much as they would on an RvR game like Dark Age of Camelot, or even a PvP Server.
