Have had the issue since signing up and starting. Read the forums and figured it was due to being under lvl 10. Currently lvl 13 on one char and unable to speak in General or Trade. Say and whispers to players do work. I removed all addons I was running, restarted the game and still no luck. Tried to do the /leave (channel) /join (channel) and that wouldn't even register. As leaving or joining. Is the chat cap lvl 15 or something? Any ideas to try? Thanks in advance for any help.

Are the servers no longer under DDoS attacks? It's related to that on this end. Been running fine up until they started the other day. PS Ellipsea, got chat back. I was "muted"?! according to tech support. >.<

Yep, DL'ed each of the 3 avail clients and tried the game with each but to no avail. Didn't install and run on a diff computer yet. Maybe this weekend. Filed an in game ticket as per Game Master request almost 2 days ago and no response thus far.

I've been dealing with no chat for over a week now and have tried every possible solution found online and suggested by the dev team. Nothing has worked.

World/Trade/LFG/ etc haven't worked for me in over a week and I've easily spent 4-6 hours trying every fix up to and including reinstalling different torrents of the game itself. Very frustrating.

So, say for the past week you've been playing and thoroughly enjoying an original version of a game you've been playing in one form or another for 8 years. Say you couldn't wait to get into some low lvl battle grounds and some original content instanced PvE. Say you went to chat with other players and find groups to do such things only to find out you can't because chat don't work? Say, you personally spend 4-6 hours over the past 2 days of your own time searching for and trying every found resolution to the problems, DLing diff torrents to try fresh installing each, but all were to no avail. Say you just waited in que for an hour only to log in, watch chat with LFG of all types just scroll by, then get depressed and exit game within 5 minutes. What say you... when you can't speak in a game that relies on it?!

Got it. Sent one through about an hour ago. High volumes so not expecting a rush answer of course. Should be on most of the day once in.

So upon your advisement I hopped in game a few ago to get the ball rolling. Had to open it under "character issue" as tech issue just redirects to the website. Upon completion of the ticket and hitting submit I received this...

Lvl 14. Yep, I've tried the leave / join, leave / join by name & number, /resetchat /chatreset, delete WTF/WDB, replace contents of said folders with bone stock settings, delete chat-cache, remove any addons, uninstal/delete entire game, redownloaded and initialized game trying all 3 diff torrent links, with and without SpamThrottle, tried installing diff Chatbox addons to see if they would change something in settings, examined and changed chat-cache variables, uninstall/reinstall everything possible, repeated head smashes upon the desktop, remove WTF/WDB folders from file,reinitialize game, back out of game, delete newly made folders, replace with old, etc, etc.... nothing!! I can whisper, speak in a party, /say & /yell. I can not in any way acccess Guild, Trade, General, LFG, Guild Recruitment, etc. Maybe it'll be fixed when I try again in a few days. Probably not. A few members of the Elysium team have def tried to help so definite hats off to them. Definitely not complaining since this is afterall... free. Just very disappointed in general with it.

Gottcha. Well I just got in game and still no luck. So this definitely has to be something server side. Is there any way to check and make sure I'm not blocked or banned or muted from such channels? Any way to remove the .wr feature to see if that has an effect or is it within the code?
