It depends, if you want to min max try hard or not. If you want to min max try hard i would put every single rank on your bars and work out how much threat you pull for each and spam them accordingly.

So for the last few weeks ive been engaging in some PUG WSGs for a bit of chill fun and i seem to see people doing some rather interesting (to say the least) things, so i thought i would post some information on some fairly standard tactics for wsg. I cannot take credit for the tactics its just how its done. 1. The gates open, game is on! 2. Picking Flags. 3. Super serious defence meta, for when shit is real. 4. Warlock friends, coiling from 30 yards is not cool. I hope this helps, happy farming.

I dont really get why you have brought this up. I would be curious to see a link to your realm players to see how you have itemised your character.

Having done this quite a few times i usually go with tailoring and skinning to level, skinning is good money and you will need tailoring for robe of the void. Once you have robe of the void drop tailoring and take engineering, once you have engineering 300 grind blacksmithing for the fear immune trinket,

Its about getting bracket spots (position on the server in relation to everyone else on your faction) You will need a decent premade in order to farm honour quickly and efficiently. Having players who understand the meta of a battleground, who are willing to spam consumables as well as being decent is pretty important. As an alliance lock you are forced to learn how to rely on killing things with out fear spam. In organised group PvP you will always be fearing a shaman, mages can deal with priests. So its not much of an issue. Simply put, you want to have 9082343895093480 anti venoms. You can be smart with a succubus if you are alliance, abuse the fact that your first will always get wotfed and just seduce into a grenade (its fairly decent cd trade imo) The one saving grace of beign an alliance warlock is paladins, make a paladin friend, make a devour magic macro for him when hes sheeped and he will follow you BoPing you on cd because why the вау not. In all honesty DS/Ruin is the best PvE raiding spec (http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#IVZfxMzg0oZvx0tr0z there is lots of filler talents, take what you want) You should (if you are in a super nerd min max raiding guild) only have one sm/ruin lock for an imp in the tank group.

I hands down disagree that that SM ruin is the best spec for levelling. The issues are your void walkers ability to tank and hold agro, sure shadow mastery, siphon life and improved drains are excellent, however if your void walker loses agro and mobs start hitting you, you just give your self more downtime. Improved void walker is an exceptional talent, i am currently level 31 on Elysium and 1400 hp, my void walker shield is 1400 hp. Its taunts are excellent and once you pick up unholy power your pets damage becomes noticeably higher, which to some extent counter acts the damage you lose from not taking affliction talents. Combined with the fact that soul link is probably the strongest (and cheesiest) pvp spec (out side of a team environment) for running round and defending your self if needed. In all honesty however i can only give you my experience from levelling on various private servers, i levelled 3 warlocks on nostalrius (and took one to rank 13 http://realmplayers.com/CharacterViewer.aspx?realm=Ana&player=Acrimony) i levelled a warlock on emerald dream (feenix) and took it to rank 10, also levelled warlocks on rebirth and all of the higher xp rate feenix servers. This works for me, you might not find it works for you however in my experience this has enabled me to level the fasted in comparison to sm/ruin.
