I just don't understand why people don't want to help their party mates even if it is a PUG. I guess being self-centered and greedy is the new norm? I would have had no issues giving the tank this item. 1) Gold is great, but I'd rather help someone gear themselves 2) Helping people is good. It fosters respect and friends. People remeber the favors you do for them 3) I don't like putting montetary gain over someones need for BIS gear.

At this point it's not even worth the effort to try and tame him. Spent over 6 hours over the past 2 days and didn't even see him once. Regular Wolf it is!

Look, I don't have an issue with stating loot rules before a run but in this case of the pauldrons I personally would rather see the tank get it than my own greed getting me gold. As andividual I would have no problem giving it to the tank because I am not greedy enough to put my gold gain over his need of the item. Not only do I personally feel that this is the right thing to do but it fosters a sense of frinedship and trust.
