This please. Can people stop bitching about things they think are bugs. "But I was 4 during vanilla and clearly remember...." and... "I remember from retail years ago..." and... "I've played on plenty of private servers and there the way it worked was...." Are not good enough reasons to change how things work.

Well this thread is about using a bleed so of course there are downsides that people are aware of. The upside of garrote though is that you don't need to gouge mobs because they die quicker. I'm not saying "always garrote, even on elementals or when you're low on health", but that garrote probably does more dmg than a lot of people realize. (TBC silence was 3 seconds)

One thing I don't see a lot of / any rogues use is garrote. I know it can be a bit awkward to land especially before distract, but when you get it at lvl 14, each tick from it does almost the same dmg as your sinister strike. And then later on, garrote + SnD (especially rank 2, like the above former dwarf rogue said) + 1 or 2 instant poisons kills mobs heck of a lot quicker than just running in and spamming SS.

I'm getting sick and tired of being punished for playing on AnathemaXef replied to Ravid's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions Yeah, the date on your computer is wrong. It's 1.2.2017 now, not 2.1.2017. You silly muricans.

Seems like a lot of peopleXef replied to PaulyPepperoni's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions Nah it was in the first few days of K2 and it was enchanting he used. Imagine all those casters who want wands asap, especially priests. Could ofc be that I remember the amounts and days wrong, but it was loads more gold than I've had by that time.

Seems like a lot of peopleXef replied to PaulyPepperoni's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions You simply just need to get better at making gold in WoW instead of suspecting everybody to be a gold buyer. I remember like a year ago on some server where people were wondering the same thing you're wondering. Turned out they never looted any grays from the mobs because they thought they were just a waste of space. I also remember a random guy I spoke to when K2 opened. He told me how he was making gold and he had the mount money by like lvl 15...or was it 10. And no, that wasn't by buying gold from Chinese. There are tons of ways to make that gold. If you "just play the game" without even trying to make gold somehow, then you're not going to be able to afford the mount. Simple as that. When old Nost had just opened, when I got to lvl 40 I bought mount, 14 slot bags, all the spells I'd skipped and upgraded my gear and I still had like 20g left. And all I did to get this gold was killed a ton of mobs, sold their grays and vendored the leathers I skinned.

What's the point of going on about "what population is the best"? Some like 10k, some like 5k and some like 2k. Deal with it. There's no right or wrong. Why do you think people chose/choose servers like Kronos and TRB (for now) over Elysium/Nost? Quality differences aside, some like smaller populations. To me it's not vanilla if I can get a group to anything I want within 5 seconds. It's more like having RDF, it really is (and this point makes me laugh at those who pretend to be vanilla "purists" but can't play on a server where they can't get a group going within seconds). To me it's not vanilla if there's groups of other people doing the same quest I'm doing, regardless which Q I'm on. To me it's not vanilla if I can kill somebody in the world and 2 seconds later that person has totally forgotten who I am and won't recognize me again unless he has some issues and writes my name down. There. That's my opinion...no need to tell me now how I'm wrong because "times have changed" and whatever other shit Zipzo was saying.

Yes I think you're correct. Currently, according to the website, Anathema has 12 more players than Elysium. Or perhaps coming into conclusions like this needs a bit more examples than just one. Earlier when I checked Anathema had 6.8k whilst Ely had over 10k. Edit: Ely restarted few min ago..now pop rising again. Don't be so hasty.

Current situation on Elysium fresh realmXef replied to Zauhet's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions More like newbs roll horde for pvp because they can't think for themselves whether those racials are actually better or not.

Yes you keep SnD up. It's a 20/30% attack speed increase which is huge, and it's almost free. Add to that your poison dmg (if you use instant poison at all) + white dmg ofc, and on my lvl 42 rogue my SS does about 110 dmg and my white crits about 180 dmg. And then there's sword spec.

I go to the website, Elysium population 10.6k, ZK population just under 4.1k, I go to the forums and read "Its the moment of merge". tf's your problem people? If there was a merge now, Elysium would be in the same situation as it was before ZK. Overpopulated with thousands of people sitting in the queue. Great idea I must say.

IMO druids just have the same "they're completely useless" reputation as alliance warlocks, but then there's people who have absolutely no issues with any of the downsides at all. Heck, I'd even say that the main "downside" is the bad reputation. I'd just go with whatever class you'd prefer regardless of its reputation or how good or bad you've heard that they're at end game PvP. You're worrying about investing a lot of time on a class that has a bad reputation, but I'd rather worry about investing a lot of time on a class you don't enjoy playing.
-
So you can kill horde 1v1 without any complaints and that's fine, but when ranged classes can kill you in group pvp because you don't know rogue's role in there, "that's just so overpowered"? I'm sorry watching an irrelevant old pvp video didn't make you king of the solo and group pvp without even trying. Here's my friendly advice. You have 2 options: 1) Accept that fact that every class has their strengths and weaknesses, and just because you die in group pvp doesn't mean rogues suck or that ranged classes and orc warriors are OP. It means you need to learn how to play rogue better. 2) Reroll a hunter and then make a forum post how everything's op because you don't know how to deal with deadzone. Reroll mage and complain how warlocks or feral druids or w/e are op. Reroll orc warrior and complain how mage's are OP.
