Only way I've found round this is with lunaunitframes addon, comes with it's own castbar feature which is smooth as silk. Standard UI has always had this issue as far as I can tell, at least here.

Hey koseku, What the players above have tried to explain (and failed badly at) is that this is a private server, and therefore there are no rules against ninja looting and even flaming to some extent. The only thing you risk with bad behaviour here is your reputation, if you wish to punish this player make his misdeeds known, name and shame him in public channels etc, so other players avoid him. Short of this there isn't much else you can do.

So we have vanilla re-spec costs making changing them often VERY expensive. It’s cool, I’ve read the post which says that’s here to stay and I’m not asking them to change it. I would like to ask why though, what do we gain from not being able to re-spec for an affordable amount? Healer in dungeons is what I live for, but in the outside world questing… ugh. Firstly, your english is awful. Please spell check & proof read before posting another wall of text or I'm not going to bother reading it. Second I have no issue at all helping new players and do so often, there is a difference bewtween new and lazy though. What you are suggesting has big side effects, yes it makes it easier for you to level your next alt but it would also bring a wave of lazy people to level 60 who quickly got there without much effort or time invested in their characters. These people would carry that laziness into groups and raids. The harder and longer the investment required before end game content the better, because when you get to end game you tend to have high quality people to play with most of the time. They spent the time required to reach 60 so they are normally pretty good / invested. Your idea is bad, and you should feel bad.

1) Nost transfers no longer work, they were stopped months ago. 2) Just create yourself a new gmail account and register with that here. It's far safer to use a new email address than one you used on other private servers anyway.

Maybe people just need to cut the team some slack, and remember that they are volunteering this service for free, in their own time. They have jobs, and kids and lives of their own to lead first, they don’t profit from this like blizzard do for their work. Yes it’s frustrating when deadlines are missed, but coming on here bitching about it constantly like people do solves nothing.

I play here because it is 1x exp. If they ever change it I will leave and find another server that is 1x. Most players here feel the same way. No. There are many other private servers that offer higher xp rates, go and play on one of those instead. One of the defining qualities of Elysium is 1x exp rates only. They will never change this, and the majority of us will never ask them too.

I'm sure he is on alot of ignore lists but that kind of attitude shouldn't be tolerated here imho. Hoping to draw the attention of an admin and they can decide to take action or not as they see fit I guess.
