Try this: Create a new account and log a ticket in game. Explain your situation and include the account details of the locked account. Admins may or may not disable and then re-enable 2FA on your account. Doing this should issue a new QR code to your email address which you can then link to 2FA and login with. I'm not sure if they currently do this though, because if they did then anyone who gains access to your email account could in theory steal your wow account by going through this process. That QR code is basically your key to your wow account. No key might well mean no wow account.

I'd be very polite and apologetic in your ticket though or admins might just tell you no. Two things worth mentioning: 1) This is entirley your fault. It's how 2FA works. Don't ever delete the QR code on any 2FA system. 2) Complaining here gets you nowehere, admins don't bother wading through all the whining...

I thought Darrowshire was the only PvE server?

Face it, the hype is over. That and I think the recent staff problems here had a huge impact. We lost a lot of population in such a short time.

You can't merge a PvP and PvE server ever. The large majority of one of the servers would simply leave or relocate afterwards.

I've had previous ideas on this subject and posted here, but devs said No. So I've been thinking, how about this... Idea for battling the gold spam as follows: Give players the ability to report a player for spam, making it very easy to do. Something like right clicking a name in a chat window and clicking a ‘Report spam’ link. Have the system record the number of individual spam reports against a specific account and if it reaches a certain threshold automatically punish that account. For example if 20 players report an account silence it for an hour as a first offence, the second time longer, and third forever. Whatever, I’ll leave the specifics up to the devs, the point here is this is an automated defence that would be effective against them and difficult to abuse. 20 people won’t report an innocent player. You can then remove the current system which seems to punish those trying to build groups for dungeons etc. You could even take it a step further, for example if 2FA is enabled on an account after a perm chat ban, automatically remove the ban and reset the report count, as this means that account was hacked but has now been recovered by the genuine owner. Everyone wins here, players can shut up spammers (as a collective) and admins don’t have to ban accounts for gold spam because the automated system will take care of all of it. Also importantly, no single player has any power they can abuse.

To OP. Are you yourself still playing? If staff do nothing more than they already have, are you going to continue playing? Understand in a perfect world I would agree with you and back you up here, as I'm sure others would. It's just never gonna happen though so stop with the drama. Shit's over. Old news now.

Agree 100% The real test for Elysium will come if and when crestfall ever opens it’s gates. They’ve been very clever here making themselves known to our player base whilst claiming the moral high ground. If it opens fairly soon, whilst all this shit is still fresh and it’s pretty stable, Elysium might have some competition and lose a chunk of numbers. Short of that, there is no real danger here. People will not quit out of principle with nowhere else to play except retail. Retail sucks.

The truth is this. There is... or rather was... large groups of Chinese players who were involved in very organised cheating. The admins have been made aware of it and taken what appears to be a zero tolerance policy against it. I am strongly in favour of this and commend them for doing so. If you or others have been banned unfairly, please make an appeal and ask them to review it. Don't come on here accusing the admin team of being racist, the very fact that they even allow VPN on the servers, despite all the known problems it causes proves that this is not the case. Trying to create drama will not win you any favour with the admin team, or the community.

Playing the race card here won't win you any sympathy. Even if you yourself are innocent, a large portion of Chinese players are not. I would personally be in favour of them banning VPN on Elysium to stop all Chinese players from accessing the servers at all. Call me racist if you like, but the servers would be safer, happier and better off.

What you need is much better testing before releasing the patches to live. (I work in software testing) Not easy on a volunteer project like this though.

Forum spam seems to be getting removed pretty quickly. Shame they don't police the actual game this well.

If you keep the original email, you are safe. You can just use that on another phone. You don't need a phone. You can use 2FA with WinAuth which is a windows application. A quick google and you'll find it.

Have you previously enabled whisper restriction? This stops anyone who is not in your guild, party or friends list from whispering you. It can be turned on/off using the command ".wr on" or ".wr off"
