Hello there. I'm in a serious pickle right now. I was so stupid to delete my character because "I was not going to play anymore". Apparently the character data got lost in the void and is therefore unable to be restored. I'm trying here as a last resort because I have spent so many hours on my char. I can find my old char on realmplayers still intact with what was her current gear and mount. I don't care about what was in my bags or gold or any of that. I just really want my character back and I can see her right there. I'm willing to do anything (limited by law) to get her back. I'm biting the dust and beg.

Yeah I know it was a long shot. But I understand.

You bring up a good point about quests and quest items. Those however are the least of my concerns. The character itself and the item drops are by far what is most important. All quest items, gold, epic mounts, enchants etc. is way below in importance and I don't expect to get those back. Well I don't expect anything really.

Same. Just entering the world then disconnect. Didn't happen after the first server restart today. But the second one did the trick.

I am quite sure back in the day mages could sheep whatever they wanted. They just didn't use it for griefing. But look at it the other way around. I have also saved players who pulled too many mobs by sheeping one of them. Griefing might need a look into. A mage's ability to sheep tagged mobs needs not.

Do you by any chance try to run the game in any compatibility modes? If so, try not to do so and see if that works.

Do you seriously come to the help and support forum because you messed up an auction? I mean come on man. What on earth do you expect will happen making this thread. Refund, really? It's not a bug, not a scam, not a glitch, not a nothing. You bought something and that's it. Lol if all people making stupid mistakes would make a thread about it and expect a rollback... lol.

I had a problem when I tried to extract the files where it said I didn't have enough diskspace, where I obviously had. A simple restart of the computer did the trick.

17 days of ress sickness! :D That's a pretty steep price to pay for dying.

Have you tried deleting the content in your WDB folder and checking afterwards?

Are you doing the Blue Recluse quest? Are you summoning in the cellar? Oh and from what I experienced I just needed to use the crate, then loot the apparatus on the ground. Only one "ghost" spawned the first time because I used the other item as well.

Now this may be because vanilla wow was so long ago. But when I hover items (I play cloth user) the leather, mail, and plate items do not show their type in red. Didn't they use to? Btw. I couldn't see a bug forum. If there is one please guide me to it.

Hey guys. I just started here and got the game installed last night (weee :) ) Anyway. I had, and still have, issues with my cursor suddenly jumping to a random place on the screen while either left-click or right-click dragging the camera around (actually it seems more often that the cursor jumps to the middle of the screen). I found someone with a similar problem in this thread: forum.elysium-project.org/topic/34316-game-rotates-my-mouse-20-180-deg-around/ This doesn't work for me however so I would like to know if there are any other possible solutions. Note: When running the game with the settings described in the linked thread my game start to get severe, and permanent, lags on the second alt+tab I do. Only way to solve that is to close the game and open it again.

Thank you. Windowed mode did nothing. What does seem to have had some kind of effect is lowering my mouse DPI. Right now I'm running 800 DPI and a update rate of measly 125. The issue is still there though. Edit: I still need to test this in combat though. It might be the same as before in reality.

Thanks for answering :) I'm positive it's not the 4 addons I have since the problem has occurred since I logged in the first time. I have tried disabling 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings' in all kinds of "Compatibility Mode". Only the Windows 7 and 8 modes will let me play. The others will make the game crash of the first frame showing after the loading screen is done. The problem still occurs though. This also means the recommended settings by Windows will not let me run the game (XP Servicepack 3). Sadly same story with the config.wtf it seems. Although. When the config file was deleted all interface configs were reverted back to default. 1024x768 resolution fx. Here the problem did actually not seem to occur. My highest resolution setting (and the one I have been using) is 1680x1050(wide) (yes, lame I know). Edit: Also. Now I am fairly sure the cursor always jump back to the mid point of the screen.

I played on Nostalgius before it was shut down and have now come back to start over on a fresh server. But I can't seem to find information on which of the servers are the newest (there was just released a new server a week or two ago right?) And bonus question. I had a character on the old Nost server. If I choose to get that transferred which of the servers will it end up on?

Hey folks I went and created an account under the tab "Play Now" in order to download the client. I received the confirmation email. So far so good. I was, however, unable to get the download links to work. The first one said it was expired and the other threw a warning in my face. So I saw this thread: forum.elysium-project.org/topic/34546-cant-download-game/ And I followed the link posted there and downloaded the game (even though it said Nostalgius). I installed the game after download and got to the login screen. Now I get "Connecting" -> "Disconnected from server" even after several tries. To my surprise I also needed to create an account for these forums? What is the difference on the two accounts? And most importantly. Why can't I login? What did I do wrong
