Okay thank you very much! So my question now is, what is the point of the mining and gathering section of cartographer? It keeps track of where the nodes are after I find them?

Hey everyone, so i downloaded cartographer and its not showing and nodes until i find them myself, once i discover them then they show up on my map but not before. I have the settings all turned on but nothing has worked. Has anyone else had this problem and if so any solutions? Thanks!
