I was about to log out for the night: I'm in the Hammerfall inn laying on one of the many cots littered throughout the building when a realization hit me; I was alone. Sure, there were perhaps thousands outside slaying monsters, making gold, ect. ect.; but my heart grew heavy at the thought of all the little details about azeroth that are completely ignored simply because most of the players simply want to rush to the end. In the inn i imagined all the conversations that had once been held there by players fascinated by a mysterious and new world to explore. I imagined players /sitting in a circle on the floor of the inn exchanging tales of battles they had fought that day; laughing and carrying on until they were too tired and /camped in one of the cots lining the walls. Life was slower then, and many people relished in the journey that was World of Warcraft. When my perspective shifts to reality... i see only myself; alone amidst the empty cots; a room filled to the brim with opportunities. Outside the inn the world is a blur, and i weep at the tragedy of it all. I am so very tired now. I think i will just close my eyes and dream of the Azeroth i once knew. Every now and then; when the day is winding down; relax for awhile, and enjoy the company of those you hold dear.

My apologies, friend; I worded that wrong. I meant life in wow was slower. It was all new to the players back then and many of them simply wanted to soak in the atmosphere rather than rush to the end. I miss that aspect of the game dearly.

Yea, i listen to this kind of music often when i'm pvping.

I'm not defending them. I'm simply saying that you cant prevent greedy people from rolling so all might as well roll need and the person who wins it gives it to the person who needs it. Think of it this way. If Stockade Pauldrons drop and both the tank and a random greedy rogue rolls need, the chances of the tank getting it are 50/50. But if the tank and the greedy rogue, and the 3 other members roll need, his chances of getting it are much higher because if one of the other members gets them, they can give them to the tank. I'm not sure what you expect people to really do. There is no way we can stop a greedy person from rolling, so simply all roll and if you get it, give it to the person who actually needs it to prevent the greedy people from having a higher chance. Maybe i'm not explaining this right, but trust me, i'm with the people who say Need before Greed. We just have to accept that not everyone is going to follow this rule and adapt accordingly.

You are not wrong in thinking this, but the harsh reality is that there is almost always a greedy person in your group who doesn't care about the rule and will roll need on BoE's regardless of their usefulness to others in the group. It is for this reason that some have resorted to just having all roll need on the item. I legitimately hate that it has come to this, but what can you do? If all the chill people pass for you and some greedy guy rolls and wins the item over you, the other 3 guys literally lost out on a chance to have a BoE that they themselves could either sell or give to you if they were kind enough. Even if you establish a rule before running the dungeon, there is no certainty that all of the members will actually follow the rule. Roll need and pray that you or someone with a kind heart wins it.

They are not saying they deserve the gear over others. By reserving gear it simply means that they are looking for members who do not need that particular piece of gear that they are reserving. /thread

guy probably went afk after boss died. jumping to conclusions based off a guy going afk after a boss died. If he really was a ninja who didnt give a shit he would have rolled need on the shoulders too. If i am wrong, i apologize.

Early on i tamed a boar which had charge that i could then learn and use on other pets. I also tamed a scorpid that had claw(rank 2 ) and Scorpid poison that i was able to learn and thus use on other pets. However, now that i am taming higher level pets in the barrens attempting to get higher level skills like Bite(rank 3) ect ect, i am finding that all the pets i tame come with zero abilities. Are the abilities on a newly tamed pet random? As in, must i continue to tame hyenas until i find one with bite or howl, ect? Thanks for your reply!

I dont have beast lore yet, but i did find a video that details all the locations of the pets with the various ranks i need. Cheers!

I hope they fix this. I rolled an orc BM hunter so i could mess around with eyes of the beast in world pvp for fun.

Are you saying that if a Freezing Band drops and the warrior wins the ring, he can't go sell that and then buy Stockade Pauldrons? There is benefit to getting BOE even if you don't actually "Need" the stats on it. I personally do not like that people do this, but you cannot argue with logic, dude.

Why is Tooth of Eranikus not included in the MH section? If you pair this with thrash blade in your OH, it can really help with those who dont have the hit rating yet.

it's pretty easy to just Gouge and then backstab especially if he's backstab spec and has imp gouge and imp backstab.
