same. also mail on darrowshire freezes. got 2 to send right off, then tried 3 more, and sits there with grayed out "send". one of those finally sent after I posted an auction. went back to mail the rest off, and again nothing. logged out to change toons, can't retrieve character list. change realm, can't change realm. log out, can't log back in. fun times!

That's because the dew team is working on the newest flavor of mountain dew. It's called, "Do something else, while waiting for your free game to be fixed by volunteer labor, and be a happy person! :)"

Same issue as above

Get disconnected when using it over 1 second. Probably again, when trying to log back in (3/3 there). Then finally, you log in and end up at a GY in the zone with health lost (that isn't regenning, but there's a post for that), and now I have slow fall even though the icon isn't showing. No addons.

Good luck with that. I've been asking for a reason for my account ban for three days now. No buying of gold or items, rarely even talk in chat, no reason that I can conceive of to have an account banned. I'm not even asking the account be reinstated, as it had a handful of toons all under lvl 22, I'm just looking for a reason. Three days later, I can't get a response... I understand this is a volunteer/donation system, and I'm not demanding anything unreasonable (I think). I just want to start a new account, and want to ensure that I don't have that account banned too. Was it an unrelated program running on my pc? Does someone not like me? Did I not make the right sacrifices to the gods? Was it a mistake? So I wish you better luck on the appeal than I have had. It's been a frustrating experience from my end.

Maybe being a complete ass about it isn't warranted though. A little understanding that people are donating their time for you to play on a free server, in a free game, that things won't be perfect. That maybe you have to go the extra mile, and download an addon instead of throwing a temper tantrum like my 2 year old. Grow up.

Bingo! So it's the compatibility. I tried service pack 2, and it "worked", however I couldn't see the mouse cursor. If you've never tried to play without knowing where your mouse is, you may be surprised to hear that it's a alot more difficult to do that you might think. Finally, trying all the different compatibility settings, I landed on Vista, the DPI scaling option, and run as admin. Now it's working. Thanks again for the help.

Ok, I'm the guy doing the work on Tormentillia's WoW and pc. I've got her pc sitting right next to mine, and I can't see the difference between them. Obviously it's something that's on hers that's conflicting, or something that's on mine that isn't on hers. I put DX9 on hers, so that doesn't seem to be it. Does anyone else have any more ideas? Thanks for all the help so far.
