Seriously, just getting a decent bow every 10 levels from the AH, quest, dungeon will do just fine, as long as you got BM.

I have mostly always played Alliance, initially simply because my friends rolled Alliance in 2005 and I wanted to join them. I often get excited about being horde and getting to play an orc or undead. On several occasions I even got so far as hitting level 60 and raiding. However, I see a glorious human paladin or night elf hunter and I remember how much I miss the Alliance. Stormwind and Ironforge just feel like home. After playing horde on Elysium since it launched I recently flew my orc warrior to Booty Bay, make a human, swam the toon to booty bay, and sent over a few hundred gold to get started as a hero of the Alliance once more. My point is, each to their own. After 12+ years of playing this game I have finally come to terms with the fact that I like playing human or night elf, and will either roll a warrior, paladin, hunter, or warlock. Anything outside of that and I will find myself getting similar feelings to the OP.

Just bite the bullet and come play on Elysium. I'm sure it is daunting having to reroll and start over (while lot's of 60's are MC geared already, with BWL just around the corner). At least you're not starting on a server where people are farming AQ40. You still have time for a fresh start and a bit of catch up

It really depends on what you want to do. If you aim to Raid and do dungeons, I'm sure most groups would expect you to be holy so you can heal. Although it's not ideal for DPS, you can still carry a dps set and kill stuff with that spec. Prot pallies are somewhat viable, and in some cases superior to warriors for dungeon grinding. As far as I'm concerned Ret is just not viable in any case other than grinding mobs, leveling and being a buff bitch. For PvP any spec is fine, but you need to understand that if you wish to play Ret, you won't be a big dick killer - you will be more of a support role (providing buffs, off-heals,, life-saving bubbles, dispels and some dps). At the end of the day if your goal is to kill things perhaps paladin isn't for you. If you want to grind mobs in the world a Prot pally has great potential in AoE grinding. The final thing I will add is that gear is imperative to any class to dominate. So if you're getting destroyed by a melee hunter he most likely has better gear than you (keep in mind melee hunters have been proven to be somewhat viable as damage dealers).

Happened several times today and I've seen many other players experience the same thing. The title gives away the scenario, but I'll explain in more detail. On mount travelling south in Tanaris on the east side of the map (close to Caverns of Time) when suddenly I disconnect. Upon logging in I'm the caverns of time (location inside is random, I've never ported to the exact same spot). There is no way out so you have to hearth. On one occasion I instantly died and had no way to access my corpse to resurrect - upon relogging I was able to spirit rez close to gadgetzan. This is a pretty major bug which has essentially cost me time and gold - the cost is insignificant as long as this ridiculous shit is fixed ASAP.

I like farming turtles, cats, etc. Mainly beasts that drop nice grey vendor items as well as meat that I can cook and vendor. Turtles for example drop grey items that vendor for 1.5 - 9s per as well as dropping two types of meat that can be cooked and vendored/used. At the end of the day if you just grind mobs until your bags are full you will make gold. I've been able to afford upkeep on my gear, buying my mount, and at level 41 I still have over 140g to my name.

The cave just east of hammerfall and the cave in west wetlands have unique nodes that will level your mining to 125 with ease.

I am finding that the drop rate on stone from mining is significantly lower than I am used to on other vanilla projects. For example I can farm and at the end of the run I would have 110 Iron Ore and only have 43 Heavy stone.Whether it is RNG or not is debatable, and whether it is blizzlike or not I am unsure because I never went mining in retail vanilla. All I can say is that is it much less than my previous experiences on K1/K2 - where I would always end up with more stone than ore. Anyone noticing this? I am understanding and accepting of the drop rate, I am just pointing out what I have encountered. ps. I play on the Elysium server.
