I get this too everytime I enter a dungeon. Can't click it away regardless how many times I click "Okay". I have to exit the game and remove the Questie folder from the interface folder before I enter any dungeon. Really annoying.

It works now. Thanks for the help. I still think it sucks that someone could "steal "my name during my absence however. :) Thanks for the support in any case! :)

Well, the issue now is rater that I can't log in at all because the game doesn't let me choose realm, regardless of which one I choose. The window where you choose realm doesn't go away after I press "okay" and I can't log in to any realm > correlation > I can't start the game (i.e. "Enter the world") since without being able to get into the realm where my character is > I can't get into the game itself. :/ What action can I take from here? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Ok, I see. I wasn't aware of the merge. I log into the character-screen and The character itself pops up when I log in. A pop-up window comes up if I try to Enter the world, saying my (original) name is in violation of character naming or something like that and I have to rename it, and then I simply type in the original name again and it says the rename failed. No further explanation. I can't change realm, I can only choose the one which is simply called "Nighthaven" ("Recommended") without the "Extra". When I try choose the others realms and click "okay", the change realm-window doesn't go away until I press cancel. So it doesn't change realm. It stays on the "Nighthaven". However, it says I have a character on the "ExtraChar1"-realm - if it makes any difference. This is the only character I had/have. I have sincerely no idea what to do here. I just want the original name back and play the game. 😞 Thanks again for any further support.

Hi, I hadn't logged in for ish a year. When I logged in now, the name of my character had been changed. I have not done this myself and I can't retain my character's original name either becasue seemingly someone else has taken it. Has this happened to anyone else? Has there been an issue with accounts being hacked at Elysium since 2017? This is very frustrating since the name of my character had a nostalgic connection to when I first played the original vanilla WoW back in 2004. So it's kind of a slap in the face when I log back in and see that A) my character's name has been changed seemingly random and without my own doing. B) someone else has taken my character' name in my place. I would sincerely like to have a proper investigation and explanation into this - it is very frustrating and quite emotionally "slap in the face" considering the nostalgic part and the fact I haven't done this myself. If I had deleted my character myself and then returned a year later to create a new character with the same name, and name was taken - then I would've understand for sure. But this is just down right stupid. I have no idea what to do?! I sincerely want my character's "real" name back. Realm is Nighthaven. Update: logged in today and still raining. Asked around and my estimate is that it had been raining for more than 24 hours straigh in Elwynn Forest.

Not sure this is a "bug" but I'm reporting it here nonetheless because I believe it should be addressed by the Elysium-team since many I've spoken with agrees with me on this subject. It is basically constant rain in Elwynn Forest. When I go to Stormwind it is sunshine though. I'm not saying it should be removed completely, just way lower frequency and duration. I played today for almost 4 hours straight in Elwynn Forest and the rain never stopped once. 30-40 mins fine. From lvl 1-6 it was constant rain - and we all know lvl 1-6 takes a while. From lvl 6-8 it was sunshine and then again on lvl 8-10 (today) it was constant rain. Thx

Ok, so I downloaded the newest AMD software (from AMD's homepage mind you) which was supposed to replace Catalyst Control Center.("CCC"). Computer got extremely slow and I couldn't start up Elysoum/Vanila wow without crashing the game out to windows. Uninstalled and then downloaded and installed CCC 15.7.1 which is unable to detect my graphics card completely (ATi Radeon HD 7610M). Trying to find old CC but it seems to be near impossible. Been googling my fingers off half the night without finding the version previous o CCC 15.7. (Looking for one with last update around 2014 I think, there you could manually choose your graphic driver). I can run the game but it runs from the Inted HD Graphics which is less than ideal and it lags a lot and crashed eery time I try to change anything with the graphics or alt+tab out to windows. I read somewhere one can manually change which GPU the computer should use through BIOS but I have no idea how this is done. If this is a recommended solution I'd gadly take some guidance. Otherwise if anyone has any idea where I can find old CCC supporting this specific card I'd be extremely grateful! Goddangit this is frustrating! :(

Many thanks for all your replies! Much appreciated! I don't have retail-wow installed, nor dual monitors. I'm running Windows 7 - perhaps partially outdated since I've blocked windows-update completely due to the Windows 10 auto-upgrade upon updating Windows (I want to stick with Windows 7). I will try the DirectX solution - but then, are you saying I need to install DirectX 9.0 (i.e. "overwrite" DirectX 11)? Won't that cause me having to re-install DirectX 11 every time I want to play a "newer" game and then install back DirectX 9.0 when I want to play ElysiumWoW? Feels like another temporary solution if so? :P Will try to update my graphics driver as well but I think it is up to date though. At the office now but will update once home later tonight. Thx again for all the help!

Thx for quick reply. Tried this actually but game resetted to 1024 upon launch. Odd problem to have in the first place. I could bypass the issue by running the game in "windowed mode" but it doesn't feel like a permanent solution and I'm not sure if the game uses the graphics card instead of the processors when running windowed. :/ Anyone had this issue in the past? (hope I'm not he first at least).

First of all, just heard of this and it is a blast to log in and see so many people playing and a real nostalgia-kick. Not sure if ths has been posted before - I couldn't find a search function in the Help & Support section. In any case - I am unable to change graphics option higher than 1024*768 in the video options, which causes my screen to be very small and narrow (playing on laptop). Is this something which is locked by the server or is it something I need to adjust in the game-files? Any help is appreciated, really want to get in and play (with a normal screen)!
