Like i said, i just dont see difference between you and the said example, zero tolerance :) seen that millions of times in ex work, people behavior doesnt change at all... That is totally wrong, innocent people can come up with a password better then "qwerty12345", there is 2f auth active, they have all the tools to not get hacked, they maybe innocent, but totally guilty with not being careful with important information and therefor they can and will get hacked. You totally miss the point that its business, illigal? yes! but its doesnt stop them and never will, and never did. Do you realy think that banning everyone on sight will solve the problem HUGE company with unlimited resources couldnt solve in 12 years? By rolling back that account they would teach person a lesson of loosing money for nothing, by banning that account they lower the playerbase and punish you, the good player with less people to group with, play with. I am not saying that they need to do rollbacks to eternity, but a first warning would show that person that its not going to work on our server, from then he can dicide if he wants to risk again and get banned, or to undarstand that he cant do that and play like others. That approach would leave more players and heathier gameplay, its also called human attitude. And btw, its free, but they do want to attract people and they do want to keep them playing, we dont have to pay, but they do ask for donations for maintance. It makes it a bisiness model becose if we all loose interest in the server it will go away so its dependant on its playerbase, want its or not but if someone wants YOU to come to HIS place and spend your time there (and optionaly donate real money) - it makes you a potential customer! You dont throw away potential customers that fast, otherwise its broken business model and thoose fail. P.S. I never said that anyone should get away with buying gold, they should be punished, not by throwing them away, but by explaining them that its not only in the rules but also in the field, if they dont undarstand then throw them away, fine. But if there is someone who bought 200g to lvl enchanting he should loose this, but not the 57 lvls he actually lvled himself for 4 month (do you actualy believe he will do that again after this?), unless he repeat the violation.

But even Blizzard never fell that low and shoot its own playerbase in the head without warnings. since the start of time, when there is offer there will be a buyer, there is allways people who have more money then time and they will use it to their advantage, if they they want to limit playerbase to extremely moral moneyless kids its their right. Mature person can acept punishment for doing something against the rules, there is no problem with that, threating people like trash is anacceptable. If i will buy gold, i will have no problem if i loose anything i bought with that gold and even more, and its what blizzard allways did, but bunning account ? for what ? what exactly does they win with this action ? "we bunned 504 accounts that bought gold" good, now that server has 504 less people that will not play here, go on ban 1000 more, lets see how low u can get. Seen today someone asked for merge, so yeah banning works, be lethal in your punishments and maybe not soon but you will feel lonely...

In 193x one european leader didcided to "fix" situation with people using buses withot buying a ticket, in a radical way, soldiers just checked for tickets an if you had no ticked they would just shoot you in place, the unfun part was that almost half people on that day havent shown tickets just becose they was too shocked by what soldiers did, later on that was called fashism. That is exactly what GM here do, they are unable to fight goldsellers, so instead they just ban people who actually play, without warning, without first timed ban and somekind of rollback, they just shoot thoose people months of playtime in the head. Buying gold is bad, but someone who played for long time, invested his time and made a mistake deserves a warning, instead of that, even in appeal, they just say "there is evidence u bought gold and close the topic" what evidence ? when ? no ansfers. And dont get me wrong, its their server, we dont pay for it, they dont have to ansfer if they dont want to, but they say "appeals is to proove we are only human". You are not, you dont act like human, you just shoot that account exactly like shown in example in the beginning of the post with no chance for the person who's time you just evapurated to even say a thing. Then what makes you different from the soldiers in the example ? i personally dont see a difference at all, except its just a computer game.
