I was playing the game without addons and I got banned for hacking/cheating. It can happen, trust me. Someone here on the forums suspected that I had something to do with the DDOS attacks. Could also just be some game/server/database bug. Using the ban appeal thread they will only confirm that the account was used for hacking/cheating. Not really investigate in what happened. So there is no way back in it seems.

So I've been talking to Gears and as long as you can't prove you didn't cheat there is no way you can get back. Hope you recorded all your playtime and put it on youtube.

Yeah but you will be tagged as cheater/hacker and they will say that your ban is final. GG. At least that's what happened to me. I had 1 level 18 and 1 level 8. Poor on both of them. Crappy items. Just randomly banned while questing. If they really cared they wouldn't let this happen to thousands of people within a month.

It's official now. GMs are just banning people and tagging cheating/hacking. I got my ban appeal answered with this: They have 0 care for their community. Good bye troll GMs.

I haven't ever traded with anyone. I think the highest amount of money I had in game was 90 silver. And when it comes to mailbox I only got stuff there from AH and sent between my own characters. So no dirty items/gold there either.

I don't know what to say. It's all so strange. Since I am 100% certain that I did nothing wrong there must have been a mistake when I was banned. Maybe someone who broke a rule had a name that looked like mine? If someone could look closer into my case we can see for sure that I did nothing wrong. I was looking forward to playing on this server but I don't feel very welcome when I am punished and then accused of stuff I never did.

I have not bought any gold. Never ever.
