Greetings, I've just hit 60 @ Zeth'Kur and I am planning to play Retribution main-spec. If you are here to troll, or say stuff like "lol reroll" "lolret" "go holy wtf noob", please leave now.
I have few questions for our valuable Ret community or anyone with knowledge, really. I am going to raid as Ret, I'll even try to get Nightfall later to help increase my guild raid's performance later. Since there's 8 debuff slots on our server and I (obviously) cannot judge Crusader, what kind of talent-build/item-build should I go for?
I'm planning on going for a warrior-ish build for now with SoC and maybe low rank consecration, not being able to Judge SotC, no point going for spellpower build for now? Is this correct?
What kind of items should I go for as in pre-raid or MC ? I don't want to get items that I will change anytime soon over my guild mates, tolerance is low against Rets :)
- Is %8 hit enough? (3 from Prot talent, 5 from gear)
- Is consec (by any rank) is viable single target?
- How often should I judge SoC?
- Can I tank dungeons by only taking Redoubt from Prot and a little bit Parry from Ret if I have decent defense gear? (Via putting Salv. on party members and using high rank consec)
- Is it worth going for a SoR build after I get Nightfall even if I cannot judge SotC still?
- Is Lieutenant set worth using in raids even without judging SotC? (I'm soon a Knight, still have to work for this)
I'm also open to any sort of suggestions regarding this matter, I've recently hit 60 and there's so much to do, yet I am stuck in Stormwind!
