New to Elysium, I'm thinking of rolling a lock, but I have some noob questions mostly regarding their role in BGs. Outside of using fear/spell lock/devour/tongues, how do you go about with your damage? I always hear people jokingly mention tab dotting, but is it a warlock's role to blanket the enemy with dots? Are there any specific classes to avoid dotting (ie healer) if there is a mage in your group? I guess I'm just concerned with the idea of dotting everything and preventing any future CC if need be.
Is there any reason to use Curse of Weakness?
I've been watching Goth's videos for examples of lock play, are there any other recommended videos or guides somewhere for lock pvp tips?
As an Alliance player, how useful is lock in BGs? I know Alli locks are rare, but how beneficial is the class in BG compared to say a Mage or a Hunter, Ally side?
