Soooo, many people aren't aware that ValkyrieWoW (the people running Elysium) have existed for many many years now. Their server was very unpopular, never had more than a few hundred players, and was ridden with bugs. There were a number of reason why the server was unpopular, a few them being that bugs were rarely (never) fixed, new bugs were frequently created, content was far from Blizzlike, certain classes were not desirable to play due to the way they functioned (in terms of talents and/or pets, etc.). My point is, the Nostalrius staff are light years ahead of the ValkyrieWoW staff in terms of development capability and programming. Currently, there are several bugs on Elysium that didn't exist on the original Nostalrius. My fear is that these bugs will never be fixed, much like they weren't on the original ValkyrieWoW servers. For example - ValkyrieWoW took anywhere between 5 to 8 years to script AQ, and the final product was of course far from Blizzlike, maybe even worse than Feenix (Feenix LUL). Currently, mobs in the world can chase you across the entire map and never reset, like you are in an instance. Instances that functioned more accurately on Nostalrius do not function properly on Elysium (ZF, BRD, Uldaman, etc.). You can die in a certain zone and be transported across the map or world and be forced to spirit rez. Dying in certain instances or zones could make you disconnect. The classic "boat/zeppelin bug" has resurfaced, causing players to sometimes disconnect when loading across the world. These types of bugs existed on ValkyrieWoW for the duration of server's existence (up to 10 years without being fixed). Their advertisement about the new core being "much better than the Nostalrius core" is simply false advertising, but what else were they going to say about it? It is simple marketing, false hope for the masses. All the hype and craze about Elysium and Nostalrius has created an illusion about the quality of the server. The server will pale in comparison to Nostalrius Begins, and the community should do their research and be aware of the server's staff and history. THAT BEING SAID, Elysium-Project is obviously the most popular and desirable Vanilla Wow experience available today, so you should certainly play on it if you want to. Just do your research and be informed before being let down or expecting something you're never going to get. I will still play on it too of course, but the probability of a better project eventually coming along is only increasing.

Why? Are you so overly obsessed about the server that you can't be bothered by the truth? It is simple, these bugs existed for a decade on ValkyrieWoW. Getting angry in world chat and posting "fix this fix that" will change nothing. It wasn't fixed for a reason, they just don't know how. Why would it be different today? It's the same leadership. All you snowflakes are so obsessed and upset about a WoW server that you ignore simple facts. Get mad all you want, ignorance is bliss I guess. Take your own advice next time you post.
