I'm grinding away on my priest. I have not put any points into spirit tap. So far I'm just dumping points into wand specialization and then it's the bubble, mind blast, SW:P, wand until down polka. Lather rinse repeat. I'm staying at full mana. Will the points that would have gone into spirit tap be better used to increase heals to better support instancing?

Thank you for this reminder, the price of gold in the chat-spam is dropping. I have to admit I was tempted, but I'll refrain and grind it out. This emphasis should have a positive effect on the economy, prices will hopefully drop on AH items.
