    Elysium Project: Moving Forward!

Yoga i think you are pushing it a bit keep in mind they just had a complete melt down and had to rush some recruitments heck the lead dev was the 3rd in line as the first stepped down and the second lost faith in this project due to corruption etc. and then recruited a couple new dev's which first need to learn how they have done things and they have not even had a long time to be tested if they are honest people or like that corrupt gm meaning at best they won't have access to as much as the old ones had making it harder to fix things unless they are blindly trusted right away like the old corrupt gm.

    Idea for Expansions

I like the idea however i might as well inform you of it not being very likely unless another project decide's to hand over their 2.4.3 source code and both teams working together being a very unlikely case. If Elysium had both 1.12.1 and 2.4.3 servers already with both having dev teams working then yes otherwise they would have to start on a 2.4.3 from scratch and risk release having many exploits. Only very few projects have the potential for expansion so far i only know of two with the option due to having 1.12.1 and 2.4.3 for doing so and that would be wow-one and kronos but between those two i would consider kronos more as they have full logs on everything included with armory ensuring that they know how to access player information along with raid and display it or it could be used as evidence if they decided to use the expansion idea should you be missing an item you could prove it with raid logs provided from the server itself. note to mention no server has yet confirmed if they ever plan to or are considering such even if i agree with you and it would be nice with a natural expansion kinda upgrade after naxx is done on a 1.12.1 server. But then again no server has yet ever done the expansion thing which is partly becourse most only focus one and few have multiple developer crews for different expansions and vanilla is a long expansion so it is something that can first happen long after Naxx is out and cleared. not to mention there are more fun servers around than vanilla ones like elysium, wow-one, cresfall, kronos etc. and nostalrius fell so it cannot be added to the list while wow-one i think has suffered from low population for awhile and kronos is a medium/high and elysium takes the cake with a very high population beating all competitors at least for now but let us wait a month or two to see how much the corruption affects population as many still do not yet know it. anyways long story short: Elysium is unlikely to have an expansion especially since they are even lacking developers for one version being 1.12.1 and 2.4.3 not being spoken of but well they could be extremely lucky and a 2.4.3 project joins them even with the current corruption being known

    Elysium Project: Moving Forward!

I have been listening to: soundcloud.com/user-497661891/elysium-staff-meeting along with keeping an eye on what transpired on Elysium and i just cannot shake the thought that this is simply a repeat of how this issue came to be in the first place due to not checking recruits background thoroughly but rushing yourselves like you did the release. rush promoting a 3rd person since the first two didnt want to and then quickly hiring new developers... how long did you even test them since first bringing them up now ? Of course i wish you good luck and it is hard to ever overcome the taint you achieved when it became known that a GM had both sold gold and deleted tracks behind himself. It should have been basic procedure that a GM should not have access to logs and developers should not have GM rights on live thus preventing most issues unless a GM and Dev teams up which is beyond rare unless they know eachother from before the project. When it comes down to a final verdict on the Elysium case i must say the lead seems rather lacking as he gives in to emotion and cuts his ties hoping his team fixes the situation rather than going in and assisting or trying to come up with a solution... this can by the way be confirmed from listening to the meeting. I am sorry but what was found might only be the tip of the iceberg since logs where deleteable by people of GM level and who knows if there is 1 more considering the team never realized or admitted they realized but a player had to investigate the whole thing... Sorry but to me i see three promising servers out there, one is very new, another has been called dead over and over but still lives and proven to have the best anti-hack and a medium playerbase, and the third is kinda ancient but it never had issues like this one. note: i know this is asking curiously but i am waiting to see if freedom of speech is permitted or not otherwise curiosity killed the cat ;)
