    Attack Table clarification

I am not really sure about that, but i would love to see how a normal attack table on a level 60 player from a boss looks like? Is it 59.4% hit 5.6% crit 15% Crushes 5% block 5% parry 5% dodge 5% miss? And if that is like that, would 1% of parry/dodge/block equal 8.3 defense rating? So say if i get the charm that increases my dodge by 2% would i need 16.6 defense less to be crit immune? Does every % of parry that we skill needs us 8.3 defense rating less? If not why is that?

A Guide to Paladin Tanking (3/13/2006) - By Krynn

Haha this paladin hate. After 11 years you still wanna tell people how to play the game? At this point u dont need to rush raids anymore, there wont be worlds first kills anymore. Just play what u want and make it work, cause the game offers the possibilites. Of course its more effort as paladin and u dont want a brainless group, but u can find that. I tanked magmadar with my paladin, no problem there. Same goes for other stuff. There might be encounters where a pally doesnt suit but, hey u dont need to bring 4 pally tanks. I
  4. Hey, so I just read this and I really like it. Shares my opinion and its well written. One thing that took my attention is the hit chance. I have different information on that, so please tell me if I am wrong or missing something and proof it. The human racial, +5 weapon skill to swords and maces actually is like 3% hit. U need 9% against raid bosses, with the racial u only need 6% and with pally precision talent only 3%, which u need to get via equip. This makes a human superior for any dps/prot specc. This goes back to the hit calculation as I found it in some sources. Equation for hit chance for a difference between defense - weapon skill > 10 is the following: Miss = 7% + (Defense Skill (315) - Weapon Skill (300) - 10) * 0.4% = 9% for 300 weapon skill against raid bosses. As soon as the difference between defense and weapon skill changes to less or equal to 10 the equation changes to, to the following: Miss = 5% + (Defense Skill (315) - Weapon Skill (305)) * 0.1% = 6% for 305 weapon skill against raid bosses. So basically, 5 weapon skill are a huge increase! Everything afterwards only counts as 0.1%. And getting this as a racial... WTF!
