Is there a level req. on lockboxes?

    Ugh... awesome thanks.
  2. So I bought 2x mithril lockboxes and 1x thorium lockboxes off a guy, then tipped a rogue to unlock them. But I can't open them as they say I am 'unable to use that item'. My toon is only level 24. Is there a level limit to interacting with an unlocked lockbox???

    Elysium PvP Realm Full?!!!!

Specifically wanted the higher pop server for battlegrounds queues to be shorter. No other server has decent BG queues. But if they are capping pop or have no way to fix the problems, then I see no reason to stick around.

    jUST GOT BANNED

The formal ban appeal thread looks empty because you can only see your own posts there to keep your account info safe.

    jUST GOT BANNED

Same here. I've only been playing for a couple weeks and I have no ban-able offense. I can only suspect that they might be banning IP's based on region related to the DDoS attack? I'm on the West Coast of Canada, not sure if anyone else banned is in the same area? This is pretty BS. Just wanted to enjoy some Vanilla PvP with a friend and it's been nothing but a nightmare from the early going... I put a ban appeal in, but I don't expect much. I've been patient with the outages as I am aware that the service is free and DDoS attacks are out of their control. But banned account for no reason!? If I don't get an answer soon, I can't see myself sticking around to deal with this crap on the regular.

Disconnected as soon as I put in password

And.... I'm back to disconnected after 30 minutes online. Bummer.

Disconnected as soon as I put in password

This was definitely a DNS issue. I just gave up after a few hours and went to bed, but came back this morning and everything is working fine. I can only assume it's related to their DDoS issues.

Disconnected as soon as I put in password

I'm pretty sure this is a DNS issue of some kind. Instead of using an auto DNS, I tried cycling through several Canadian public DNS options and I found that some of them had the same issue, and some of them actually sat on 'connecting' for a while before finally giving me the disconnected error. Although I still haven't connected, the variation in behavior based on DNS leads me to believe it's related. It's certainly the ONLY thing that's made any kind of change in behavior so far.

Disconnected as soon as I put in password

I have a backup of the 1.12.1 client on my PC, so I extracted it again and launched it from scratch in a whole new folder, but I run in to the same issue. I then decided to make a new Elysium account, and that also exhibits the same behavior when trying to login... Help!
  10. I'm having an issue logging in to ANY server. I was disconnected during, I assume, a DDoS on Elysium. When I went to reconnect, I immediately get the message 'Disconnected from server". This happens IMMEDIATELY after typing in my password and pressing 'Login'. No character screen, no server selection, nothing. At first I thought it was just the server, but the server is listed as up. Plus, I'm not presented with the option to even connect to a different server. So I decided to edit the realm name in my config.wtf file, but still have the same issue. So I deleted my config.wtf file altogether, and STILL have the same issue. I can't even connect if I manually edit the file to a different realm... just says I'm disconnected from the server before I even get the option to select a realm, character or anything... What's going on?

How much longer is Elysium gonna be going down?

Same issue here. But they're working on it. DDoS attacks, coupled with a massive influx of new users is likely pushing them pretty hard. Remember this project is all volunteers.
