I originally made an account about a month or so ago when I heard that you would be able to transfer your Nost toon here. When I realized that wasn't going to happen thats when I noticed all of the trash talk and drama posts being thrown around. I started my character a couple days ago and begin my journey anyway. I have had so much fun playing again. All the people I have met through random group quests have been awesome. The nostalgia level is off the charts for me this time around, I decided to remake my very first WoW character. Good ol' fire mage.
Through I have never taken on the job of trying to run a emulated server (not much of a true programmer). I have helped lead guilds in Everquest and World of Warcraft Retail and was a guide on Everquest for a short time. I am also a Unix systems administrator so I know exactly what it's like to hold plenty of thankless jobs where people expect the world from you and don't even bother with a simple thank you.
So from me to all the people that help in anyway keeping Elysium up and running and progressing, sincerely thank you. I have been having a blast the past couple days replaying the glory days, can't wait to start raiding and PvPing again.
So again, thank you guys for all the hard work and keep it up. Don't let the few get you guys down, I am sure there are more people like me that truly appreciate what you guys are doing.
