I changed my LH password. Restored. And then changed it again. That password is also different from my Elysium password. I'm sure many are too dumb to realize the "dangers" (I mean, getting your account hacked doesn't really matter tbh. It's not like there is any payment info or personal info to grab other than what I hope is a dummy e-mail you set up), and I'm sure there will be many hacked accounts on Lights Hope in the near future :) But hey, screw them anyway.

What I've come to notice for these types of projects, is that there is a huge demand for PvP -- the mainstream is more PvE oriented, but players on private servers are not mainstream. We are ruthless and quite frankly (just check out World chat) giant a-holes :). You'll most likely have to wait for Blizz for a decent PvE realm. It's not just WoW though -- look at WC2 or original SC (before the revamp). Or even older Call of Duty games (Deathmatch vs. Other play types). In their early days they were dominated by "vs comp" matches. That's what mainstream enjoys. But when they "died" and all the mainstream players left, those who remained were all hardcore PvP players (ladder and tournaments), and compstomp matches became hardly a thing.

Darrowshire actually isn't bad at all -- I rescind my previous statements. lol

I am definitely interested in seeing how it plays out. Also due to the current state of Lightbringer, I wouldn't be surprised if alot of those old Elysium players didn't come back just to get away from 10k pop.

Yeah, I meant the Lightbringer realm is crazy overpopped. I also play on Darrowshire (at least until Stratholme releases here), and it is far from perfect -- unless you like a quiet questing experience, then I guess it would be perfect.

I am a super casual player, like maybe 2 hours over the course of the week, and a 2-3 hours on the weekend. Yes, since launch I've only made it to level 20. But that's how I want it :) Edit: I spend more time reading the forums than playing the game, because I can't WoW at work x.x

I mean, I can't speak for everyone, but I don't have any problems waiting for however long it takes to get the servers merged and operational -- my only issue is with the lack of updates. Keeping information flowing is an important part of the development life-cycle, and as stakeholders we'd of course like to know how progress is fairing. I am an IT professional myself and while I would love to volunteer my time, the fact is my free time is extremely sparse. So I respect the job being done by staff (and I also had no qualms about the drama that happened, honestly time should be compensated in some way). Anyway, yes. Just an update every couple days would be nice, even if it's just saying that it's still be developed. My biggest concern is that the entire project will be dropped in order to concentrate on Nighthaven.

PvE players will continue to exist with inflated hopes and dreams. :)

Wasn't Stratholme supposed to be PvE? In any case, I don't think the problem is really the servers being PvP, but a combination of PvP and overpopped. Over on LH, the pop is ridiculous. It's not an original WoW experience, more like WoW-Flavored Mortal Kombat. lol
