  1. A lot of people are talking beside the point here. The point Gnog is making isn't that there aren't ways to level an alliance character (grinding in not so popular zones etc.) but the fact that Horde have lately become increasingly aggressive in their griefing of lower level players, and that there are a lot more high ranking Horde players in zones like Burning Steppes, Searing Gorge, Felwood, Winterspring, and Un'Goro which makes leveling past 50 a pain for most people. I completely agree with Gnog - in my experience (10 days /played since March) you will get outnumbered by Horde in almost every zone, and you'll live or die by their mercy. I have also noticed an increase in griefing lately, especially in the Burning Steppes and Searing Gorge. But I've also spent significant amounts of time getting ganked in Winterspring and Un'Goro as well, so I don't really buy the argument that these zones are "safe", but that is also completely beside the point, as I've said. As an example today (June 6) there were seventeen (17) horde placed starting from outside the Blackrock Mountain until the very entrance of Blackrock Depths (I had time to count because the run to the instance entrance from Thorium Point took 34 minutes). As I'm sure you can appreciate that makes it pretty difficult to get to the dungeon. Compound that with six high-ranking hordes constantly griefing at Morgan's Vigil (Karatequin, Flameboy, etc.) and things get pretty hard for most players getting things done in those zones. Now it's important to note that there's nothing inherently wrong with any of this - it's a consequence of playing on a PvP server and having an imbalanced faction ratio - I just think it's unnecessary to blow if off like nonsense like (for instance) Hurricane2 is doing. Yes, there's an imbalance between the two factions, and yes there's been a lot of griefing lately. And I don't think there's a lot anyone can do about it I'm afraid, so just hang in there. :-)
