  1. So yea, it's a month+ on-wards from the release of AQ on Anathema, any update on when you're going to make the quest line blizz-like again vs this insane thing you made us do to open the raid?

    umm, so yea numbers are the same still.... what was that server downtime for if not to update the war effort like you said it was?

Since it has been shown that our dev team will listen to our feedback, how about we address the issue of the AQ gate quest line on Anathema, and how it has been severely changed from what it was on blizzard servers. Now, this is not meant as a hate rant, some of these changes are needed; as much as I hate artificial limits, the cap on the number of scarab mounts attainable is very much a needed thing, especially with how long the war effort is taking thus far. Were it not for the cap and the limitation on starting the quest til the war effort is complete (which i must note is COMPLETELY un-blizzlike, and should be changed), we would see that quest line farmed to hell and back and have several hundred "scarab lords" running around when the gates are finally opened. No, the issue I have with their implementation is with the Silithid Carapace Fragments and how they have been changed to be Bind-on-Pickup. The entire point of the quest line is teamwork, getting people to work together to put one person forward of the rest of the group. The change to carapace fragments completely removes a HUGE part of this goal, deputizing. With the change as is, the devs are forcing ONE person to do all the work that is normally meant to be spread out amongst an entire GUILD. Raising even just one person's reputation from full hated to neutral is a LOT of carapace fragments, 18000 to be exact. Given the time limit that has been placed on even completing the quest line for a chance at the mount, having to grind that many carapace fragments SOLO is borderline evil. Now, were there no hard cap on how many mounts there can be, I might understand this a bit more. With no limit on scarab lords, guilds would farm the silithid 24/7 and sell the fragments to the highest bidder; but with a hard limit, it is a race for guilds to complete the quest line and claim the title for themselves. With carapace fragments returned to their proper non-soulbound state, it will not only be possible to effectively deputize fellow members of your guild, but it will actually promote MORE competition to complete the quest line and claim the title of Scarab Lord. You want this to be a race, so let it be one. To the devs; you have stated that you are willing to listen, so i ask you this. Will you listen now? How do you justify making such HUGE changes to what is already one of the hardest and most involved quest lines the game has ever seen? Please, remove the Bind-on-Pickup status of the fragments.
