In my opinion, shadow priest, frost mage, healadin, mortal strike warrior and cb/prep rogue are the top tier classes for PvP in vanilla. Since you're into hybrids, you should roll shadow priest, it's by far the best hybrid in vanilla and arguably the best pvp class overall, they have strong DoTs and they are very tanky : - 15% dmg reduce with shadow form - Shields - Tons of armor with inner fire - Big health pool What else x)

Warlocks are strong against casters and hunters, especially when they are running with a felhunter for spell lock and self dispell but they get shut down by melees quite easily. Mages are strong against melees but they struggle against casters and hunters. The gameplay of the two classes is also radically diferent. In the end it all comes down to personal preference. Try both classes until lvl 20-30, do a few warsongs in chill mode and see which playstyle suit you the best.

Still on the race topic, I'm currently rolling a female nelf priest because I love the looks. (swear I'm not virgin^^). From a pvp standpoint, am I at a huge disadvantage because I don't have fear ward or desperate prayer ? Will I suffer from discrimination when asking to be invited in premades/pve raids ?

I really miss addons like I Interrupt that or Interruptbar that let you know if your juke attempt was successfull or if you successfully interrupted a spell. Is there anything similar for vanilla ? Thanks in advance for your reply, Regards.

I went for CT_ShieldMods it works fine. Thank you Shadex. Sad that we can't lock the frame though. Would be awesome if someone with coding skills could backport shieldmonitor.

Hi everyone, As a priest player, I'm looking for an addon that displays the remaining absorb value of my shields, like the old shieldmonitor wotlk addon that I really miss : http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info11413-Shieldmonitor.html Do you know something similar for vanilla ? Thanks in advance for your reply, Regards.

I have the same issue. I'd like my cast bar to be bigger and in the middle of the screen but when I try to move it or change its size with moveanything it bugs :(

[AddOn] CastModifier - TBC and above like Conditionals for /cast macros
glonglon replied to Ike's topic in UI, AddOns & Macros
First of all, thanks a lot for this great addon Ike <3 I was wondering if it would be possible to add a /castsequence macro to the addon and the timer+target reset conditions ? I really miss my retail lock macro to apply dots, that looked like something like that : /castsequence reset=target/12 Corruption, Curse of Agony Basically the macro above applies Corruption then Curse of Agony and resets after 12 secs or when I target a new mob. I tried to replicate the behavior of this retail macro with the supermacros macro below but It only works when I'm the only warlock in the group/raid applying these dots : /script if not buffed("Corruption", 'target') then cast("Corruption") else if not buffed("Curse of Agony", 'target') then cast("Curse of Agony") end end Hope you'll be able to help me. Thanks in advance for your reply, Warm Regards. -
While we're at it. Is putting 1 point in trap mastery useful in PvP ? Do not hesitate to link pvp builds.
