Is there no way to see where the gold was mailed to or checking any logs on your guys' end so you can at least try and reclaim the gold and ban whatever shell accounts the hackers are using? at least try and find the hacker's network and ban them? I'm not cheating or abusing the system, i just want the fruits of my hours of labor, thats literally hours of my life I will NEVER have back.
@ariatris my highest charector is lvl 27, i've literally just been playing for a month, last time I played wow was more than 10 years. How am I, as a noob, suppose to know i could get hacked by just regularly playing? I know from years of gaming to make sure to follow a checklist similar to this
"Never share your account information - I have never shared my account info
Have a unique and complicated password that does not exceed 16 characters; I do have a unique and complicated password
Connect yourself from a secure computer and network; all my shit is secure
Never download unsafe files that might contain viruses/malware; I don't...
Never use the same credentials (username and password) on another server or service. I only play on this server"
Should I have used 2fa? In hindsight of course I now acknowledge that I should have, but how am I as a noob suppose to know how truly unsafe these servers are when everything else I have done is secure.
Even now that I have enabled 2fa, when i log in nothing is asking me for a code with my current IP. Does that mean the hacker is still able to access my account if he previously got in last night? How am I suppose to trust any of this or have any restored faith in the system.
