I don't think there is much choice, besides rings, you need your hit to be at least 9 and your crit to be as high as possible. You ideally want a quickstrike ring, don julios, deathbringer MH, corehound tooth OH, Onslaught girdle, R12 legs or cloudkeepers. If you can't maintain 9 hit, you could try for an accuria band. Swap the corehound tooth out for a doom's edge when BWL hits, and start getting the high attack power gear while you keep your hit up.

Right. So would you still agree that the Doom's Edge would be better than CHT solely because of axe skill glancing damage?

Interesting argument. I've also read the opposite, where people say they'd rather take a fast weapon like CHT because it will on average yield ~3 overpowers per minute. This goes into a whole other theorycraft on whether or not you should be constantly swapping and burning rage though.

Is there any advantage in taking the CHT as an offhand over the Doom's Edge from BWL? It would seem that their stats are almost identical, but Doom's Edge drops a lot more and would be better for Orcs because of the axe skill. The only downside is that hunters will be looking to take a few of them.
