    Renaming my character

    Alright, thanks for the answer!

    Renaming my character

Hi everyone, i have a question for the GMs. I started playing on Elysium in 2017 and i played a druid named Moonforest (and I managed to take her to level 54), just like my nickname on the forums. Then I had to take a long break and came back just today and, well, I see that the realm where I used to play no longer exists and everything was merged into one single realm, which is cool. But, i noticed that i have to change the nickname of my druid now, which is sad because I'm really attached to it, since it was my nickname during retail vanilla, tbc and wotlk. And i noticed that you implemented a "Search characters" tool, that i used to look for whos using that name now, just out of curiosity. Apparently, its used by a level 1 NE priest, who played for less than 20 minutes. Now, it's not a vital thing, i mean i will not quit Elysium just for a stupid nickname, but I wanted to ask before changing it. Is there any chance to edit the name of that level 1 priest, instead of my druid? If it's not possible, no worries, i'll figure out another nickname, I just wanted to be sure. Thank you!

    This needs to stop

Nothing has to stop, even if your right when you say that leveling an alliance toon is a pretty rough thing. I'm currently near to 53 like you and of course i get ganked like everyone else. Sometimes, like 1 week ago more or less, i was in Tanaris, killing pirates in their acampment for the hats quest and i was the ONLY alliance guy surrounded by like 15 horde, i know that feeling. You can't avoid to be ganked by people who actually enjoy to gank everything red they see (i personally don't, but can we really blame them? It's a part of the game, not my part, not your part, but well that's it). BUT, from my experience during aaall those years.. Go back on my experience in Tanaris, i actually had three options: - Flee away - Start doing my things hoping that 15 people from the opposite faction are good sport - "Mind games".. What I mean with "mind games"? Simply, I was killing my first pirates when i saw a mage and a priest struggling with a huge bunch of mobs (caused by the typical mage ultrapull). I could let them die, but I decided to help them, and without my aid they would be dead for sure. They thanked me and I kept on killing mobs outside the acampment (so, me and those 2 guys outide [+ other 3] and like 10 hordes inside). Mobs runned out, so I had to enter the acampment, and I entered there after the 2 guys I helped. After two seconds a warrior charged me, then, the priest told something in /say, presumibly to not gank me because I helped them. And the warrior went back to his stuffs. End of the story, I did my quest (that took 1 hour) in peace, surrounded by the enemy and none attached me. And something like that happened more than one time during my leveling experience. Obviously i was lucky, because these two guys could have killed me anyway, or the warrior, etc. But well, I think that is better to try everything you can instead of complaining on the forums. (and complaining does nothing but the opposite..)
  4. Years pass by, and the discussions are always the same, which faction is the bad one, which the good one.. Sometimes people lose the sense of reality and forget that behind these shiny in-game characters, and behind the factions they belong, there are "normal" humans, not orcs or elves
  5. Hello, I have few questions. Is there a way to show your buffs, hots, and stuffs like that on party members? Plus, if I'm grouped with a hunter or a warlock, I can't see their pets, how can I fix that? As a healer could be handy! Thank you!
