BYO is an Australian / Oceanic community looking for more! We have a competitive raid team currently BWL 8/8 MC 10/10 ONY 1/1 for which we were oceanic first. BYO began on Kronos 2 as a collaboration between ex-Nost refugees and returning veterans keen to raid vanilla again after the untimely demise of Nostalrius / Retail WoW. Prior to leaving Kronos 2, the guild had achieved MC 10/10 Ony 1/1 and BWL 8/8. BYO were among the first 60's on Elysium and have recently joined forces with <Mate> to strengthen the Australian / Oceanic community. BYO seeks to provide a home for those in the oceanic timezone looking for a like minded community and/or a competitive raid experience. What to expect from BYO: Dedication to aim for oceanic firsts. Fast and clean raids. Always aiming for the best times. A mature, experienced, and drama free environment. Decisive, Open-To-Talk-To leadership with experience up to 13/15 Naxxramas. Organization. Structure in all relevant aspects. Transparent loot council system. What we expect from you: Maturity, always. (Raiders) Following orders. Our class leaders or officers may ask you to do something and may not have time to explain why right in that moment. We expect you to take directions. If we need you to change spec, profession, sit for a boss or two, etc, then you must do so. If you have any problems, then you are more than welcome to contact said leader later on once things are finished. 80%+ attendance for raiding. If you cannot attend you MUST contact your respective class leader. Extended raid times for progression. Anticipate longer raiding hours for the first clears of new content. Skill. We aim for the top ranks so we expect our players to know their classes inside and out, NOT just learning a class for the first time. We accept a range of player skill levels, however our core raid team is expected to know what pieces of gear you should be aiming for, how to dps at peak performance for bosses AND TRASH. If you cannot perform as well as the others in your class, then you are holding down the raid. ALWAYS bringing full consumables to raid AND full world buffs. TO EVERY SINGLE RAID We are a loot council guild and DO NOT TOLERATE people who whisper and cry over loot after each and every boss. The leadership has played vanilla for many years. We DO NOT favor loot or hand it out randomly. Loot is distributed to those who have high performance, play well consistently, and who have the right attitude.
