  1. Sometimes, I'm faced with a dilemma. Do I sacrifice 1% crit for 20 - 30 AP? Do I sacrifice 20 - 30 AP for 1% crit? How many points of agility should I sacrifice for each point of strength? What is the relative weight of each stat? All I know is that for every 14 AP, I gain 1 DPS (on paper, at least) for my MH weapon and a bit of extra DPS for my OH, accounting for the OH damage penalty. I've got absolutely no clue how much "paper DPS" 1% crit is giving me.

    Level 60 fury weapons

Axe of the Deep Woods is a reasonably solid and very inexpensive weapon. 41.5 DPS is on par with Dal'rend swords, and it procs often enough to give it an edge over the slightly slower speed of the Dal'rend main hand, imo. Frostbite / Stormstrike Hammer is also excellent, easy to get on AV weekend, and is probably a bit better than Axe of the Deep Woods. Mirah's Song is a good OH weapon due to the nice balance of DPS, stats, and speed.
  3. I've been fiddling with Crusader enchants ever since I got Mirah's Song to replace Thrash Blade (it didn't really proc enough to make up for the low DPS, lack of any stats, and slow speed for an OH weapon). With Crusader enchants on both of my weapons, Holy Strength seems to stay up reasonably often, and occasionally even stacks due to crusader proccing on both weapons near the same time. However, I'm a bit disappointed by the low proc rate of Crusader on my OH. It does proc -- just not often enough to keep Holy Strength sustained on my character as often as I had hoped. Does anyone have any theorycraft-esque arguments regarding whether +15 STR might be a better alternative?

Axe of the Deep Woods + Thrash Blade?

Ahhhh. Several fury warriors I've spoken with on the server have said otherwise. Thanks for the clarification. I suppose there's no benefit to having weapons of the exact same speed, after all. At this point, I'm wondering whether a higher DPS weapon like Skullforge Reaver or Mirah's Song might be a bit better overall. :/

Axe of the Deep Woods + Thrash Blade?

I'm debating whether to keep my Axe of the Deep Woods and Thrash Blade (both 2.70 speed weapons) or stick it out for something like Dal'rend swords. The more I think about it, the better my weapons seem -- the flurry talent, for example, benefits from having two weapons of the exact same speed by giving an additional "swing" with flurry active, since both weapons tend to strike at the exact same time. Thrash Blade is also a slow weapon, making it better for crusader procs. The double-attack proc also (presumably) increases the number of crusader procs I'm getting, and the extra DPS gained from the double attack at least partially offsets the relatively low (35.2) DPS of Thrash Blade. It seems like there's a lot of synergy going on. As a gnome, I don't have any racial concerns. Any opinions on whether my current weapons are sufficiently good not to worry about that maddeningly elusive Dal'rend set?
