    swords vs daggers is very close to equal assuming equal skill. Distracting Dagger would be a better offhand tho. I'm running Felstriker + Distracting dagger and currently top meters in raids.

    If you plan on focusing on PvE I would stay combat swords. I'm not familiar with James BRD guide but imp sap isn't needed for any level 60 dungeon. Getting it would gimp your DPS pretty hard... if you happen your way into a Felstriker (difficult and unlikely), combat daggers is actually very competitive in PvE and decent in PvP as you burst with ambush and backstab.
