    Been pvping on anathema all day today for WSG week. Have to say this change ti great. Some with a friend and some solo que. No more is it just premades crushing random people and long ques. Been winning about 505- ad the games have nice run times with lots going on. A few HUGE things that got better. Meeting new people and working together with them to win! I have not had a match where players hid on either team in AFK. played over 20 games not 1 person said anything negative about no premades (the people who actual like to pvp love this change). In each game there is a good shuffle of players at different ranks, and different nations. All in ALL great change!

    You are right and this is the entire point! DPs is FAR FAR to high for things like this....this is 1 of many bosses coming, and currently in game where the ball has been dropped about correct scaling, where We did see it CORRECT was in aq on huhuran who ever chose to have her hp increased by almost double did the right move!

    NO an emulation of the game would require you to experience the game how it was during that time. Look at MC bosses die under 30 seconds with people in crap gear, but know how to maximize their class now unlike they did during that time. The fact is the game is played differently I wouldn't even say more hardcore since players are just better and the game was not tuned for that level of skill at the time. Look at twin emps. My guid (not a top guild) would kill it with 8-9min left until enrage with NO aq gear....remember during vanalla when it was a dps race ppl running back and forth trying to beat the clock......

    SO what is this magical 8.2 k armor, If you use the value macro C'thun has 6220 and 75 to all res minus holy....So in fact he has 0 Spell res(that's a joke so full caster damage not lowered by anything and melee reduction hits what 3k? so he really has 3220 armor......

    This should be done for ALL bosses....Like said why even script bosses??? Looking at some bosses where certain event happen during timed events. If everyone is able to kill the boss b4 the time comes then why script it.... If the goal is to emulate vanilla, then things should be done to compensate for the current skill cap so you can emulate and have the same feel (since its emulation) of what the fight felt like during vanilla. Not buffing the bosses is a dumb choice, AQ 40 bosses had more armor/hp and felt amazing and was fun. Let down for this naxx announcement, wrong choice not sure who made it.
  6. @Haitharn Yes I do, Please look at what guilds did with aq40/naxx gear and aq 20 books, top guilds like curse death and taxes for the time. Again simple hits (white hits non crits) are much higher now then those guilds did with better BIS gear and new spell ranks this is my point.
  7. @Pottu This data is actually not 100% correct, SO tactics do not some how make our players hit bosses for more damage then videos from the time these were released on live. Looking at videos our players w.o the aq20 books since most of these guilds went straight into aq, and w.o naxx gear are hitting for in most cases just over, and in other cases way more then players did in vanilla, watch curse videos of naxx/aq. Yes tactics would help(spamming attacks) but they would not make what the attack non crit white hits for. Now to mechanics, most even aq bosses as well ass bosses in game mechanics have directly to deal with hp, Enrage at certain % or for certain amount of time while under a % hp, also enrage timers fore wipes etc. These mechanics don't apply since it can be done.
  8. No actually I do,I watched, and yes some mobs had i think 4000 something spell res, but the system message said that was a bug. The casters did damage on other bosses and killed them fine. Now AGAIN I am not saying they were to high or low, I am saying that having 0 now is a joke, most people rolled here for a blizzard like feel, and killing bosses under 1min and having it be a joke is a disgrace to what we were told it would be. Also if casters quit because they dont see "big" numbers then they are a joke.
  9. actually here i don't disagree but you are leaving out points magic res and armor reduction, so lets look at spells first. so 400 is not really 400....400-75 =325 So is 325 high maybe, but having 0 like it is currently is a joke. maybe start st 300 so....300-75=225. Whatever numbers are chose we have to use facts not just numbers to scare people. Same with armor, I saw from the raid not every single boss had 8k...nor 400 spell res lol but ok back to armor. If only Cthun had 8k armor b4 about 3.5k worth of reductions, that's fine you said it yourself ed bosses were way harder.... and I don't know what numbers should be used, but the current numbers are to low. Maybe a 20% increase? The devs have the way to test these things. You can actually tell all these numbers are wrong. Adds, have more armor then bosses, guards have more armor then faction leaders, Look at av its a rush zerg because things are weak and have 0 reduction they can be killed. So lets look at what the numbers should be...maybe 8k is high but is 7k? no its not.
  10. I disagree again, they should change it, its far to easy, yes some trash combo can be tricky but that's not the point we now have another farm wave. Also saying the content is difficult for a vast majority is not true, that's not true at all. Also we all know vanilla raids had flaws in terms of scaling of course, but these devs should have fixed these issues....that's the point. Again bad guilds would of course have problems here if they don't use correct strats or are memeing players. Struggling on the last 3 bosses doesn't mean its all good. The true end point is this difficulty is a let down, even if bad guilds struggle that is not a good scale. Guilds in greens wiping in aq when you look at it shouldn't be considered a good tuned aq..... Guilds not clearing or barely clearing bwl.....or bwl clears in 3 hours, should not kill most aq bosses, or yes should struggle in aq, esp if they are still struggling in bwl..... Putting the content out correctly would then make guilds use correct specs,gear,strats,raid comps......and thats what we wanted.
  11. @Slicy Normally I agree with your logic, but not today, AQ is way way to easy, and guilds not killing skeram are doing something clearly wrong, or are.....wait for it....bad guilds. The damage done to the bosses is to high fights are lasting under 1-2min on some fights. This was not the feel We or at least I wanted when I heard all these claims of "prenerf". I watched your guild stream and it looked amazing minus bugged trash. It made me feel like progression would come back and my guild would kill 1-3 bosses the first week.....now its a joke. It really is a joke. We can say well look how many guilds haven't killed cthun, but that's actually even worse in terms of difficulty scaling if other bosses can be 1 shot with under max raiders and people in greens and not knowing what to do....this makes me feel like the kronos custom easy aq all over again. Yes we know strats but.....10 years ago we knew/used the same strats. ALso then If as a player base if we are these damaging god, the instance should be fixed somehow to make up with how much better we are and I agree with @killerduki here....If not by boss mitigation(which is how it should) then with boss HP being scaled way up.
