Sorry to make a new topic so soon after my first. I have tried to install some addons to get things going but the addon button that is meant to appear in the bottom left of the character creation screen is not appearing. I have installed some addons and the button still isn't appearing I cannot find a fix for this and have tried googling the problem and searching the forums and so far nothing. I play Legion so I have a copy of that installed on this computer as well as a copy of the Elysium Vanilla WoW can that stop addons from loading?

I did what you suggested and the folders re-created but there is still no addon button showing on the character creation screeen and no mods are active.

I just downloaded the client and decided to start playing followed the installation instructions fine and that all worked. I was able to log in choose a realm and start a character once in the game I edited the video settings to put them up and changed the resolution when I clicked apply the game became invisible the music still plays and all but I can see my desktop while the game is open. I tried installing DirectX 9 as was suggested but that didn't make a difference either. The game was working fine but now I can't play it due to changing either the resolution or some graphics settings. Not sure how I can fix this aside from maybe re-installing.
