Sorry but welcome to vanilla. So funny when people complain something isn't authentic to Vanilla or scold retail players yet want to alter what was originally in Vanilla. Reporting is your only option.

I don't get the hate here lol. I play here and retail. Can one of you please explain to me where it says you can't group with friends and quest/travel/dungeon crawl exactly like you can here? That's right you can't. Don't blame a qol tool that people CHOOSE to use in your little crusade. Spamming "Looking for____" in a chat channel is not "being social" or a "community" you're simply using a tool given to you. Being forced to do something doesn't mean it makes the "social experience" any much better than retail. You just have no other options. In fact I've done multiple crawls where nothing was said after "ready?" A rich social experience isn't specific to vanilla. And this is coming from someone that loves vanilla and this server. Take the glasses off.

Darrowshire is the only PvE server I think. Mostly Alliance so if you want more people play alliance. Horde from my experience is critically low and the only guilds are "friend guilds" I've been searching for a guild for days and have yet to find one that takes new players, even if you are casual. You are the spec/class they need or no go. you got to remember darrowshire = old nost. So a lot of people are already decked out/raid loggers. From alliance side I saw a lot more people but hardly anyone wanted to quest or level despite obviously being on the same quest. play horde though! I love horde. But only if you don't tickle me. .

my personal opinion is the expectations of everyone. In order to join a guild a lot require you to go to a site and apply. It's a game not a job but I understand it helps weed out a bit of heat of the moment players. another thing is raiding requirements. I've raided for a long time and I'm telling you now unless you do naxx its pretty much lfr quality in retail(half doing whatever half pulling the weight). People are just so picky but complain about not filling slots? Another thing is player attitude. I was told to kill myself and go play retail because I like new models. It's funny because I bet any money these vanilla diehards use the AH(that is cross faction(was not until MoP?WoD?)) or certain addons/mods. I could go farther and say any of the newer chat services like discord. I like vanilla and retail but to scold anyone that is not go vanilla or go home or doesn't have a hateful passion for retail is pushing a lot of players away. .I've made it to 12 so far grouping only once. The world feels dead to me. Bit disappointed. A lot of players were probably curious about all the hype for classic, played here and saw what it was like and left. Don't get me wrong, vanilla was great in terms of RPG elements(spells use certain items/class quest/trainers). But time does not equal skill or "hard". Vanilla was not hard, it was "play this, do this, auto attack, grind mobs for hours here". But I still love it. that's why I think the server is losing so many players. Please don't tickle me.

Wow thanks for reply! I can level shaman with ease now! Do you also mind if I need other stats? I hear agility/strength, but my attacks are magic so what about intellect?

what is differences between being addicted to drugs or watching tv hours a day? Nobody cares when people do something else for hours? If you love WoW as long as you are not doing bad things like drugs or hurting people and have a job to support yourself play as long as you want if that's what you like. But don't tickle me. I'm super ticklish.

I know probably this should go in Class section but this has more views and is kind of more a question in general. I want to level a Shaman as Enh(And heal later on/PvP). I have looked all the places and see that Enh is a complete joke of a spec(Don't really care just want to play it. For raids I will switch to whatever is needed because it isn't a solo effort like questing). Anyone who has level as Enh or a shaman what is it like? I know things are different server from server(Like I heard WF is glitched on here? Anyone else remember 1 Shot shams?). I am getting a whole mix of things. Some are saying use a 2H as Enh shaman to level. Some are saying SUPER fast dagger and shield. Some are saying just go elemental and use low rank earth shock to trigger clearcasing? What is your peoples experience. Any tips and advice/Builds would help. Questing areas I should avoid as Shaman? I am on PVE server BTW.
