UPDATE: Tried it today without making any changes at all and it's working.

@Hudson Tried the steps above, didn't solve the problem. I also tried to update the app which didn't work. What is weird is that everything is fine when logging in to the website only the client doesn't work. I also checked my connection to the servers which was fine, made sure the realmlist is correct and delete the WTF and WDB folder. I thought mentioning the things already tried to fix the problem would be helpful.
