This has absolutely nothing to do with a classic gaming experience anymore. The world is not laid-out for such a huge amount of players. This is not like the game was intended to play in any way. Started on ZK and was happy with the amount of population on both sides. To be fair, I can't give any statement about endgame content regarding the population. But I never had a problem to find a group as a dd for questing or dungeons. Now I am level 45 and I'm going to quit because it is no fun to me anymore being ganked (ofc only by level skull, or in groups) as soon as I exit protected zones. Not to mention that mobs are bing killed as soon as they spawn and leveling will take 100 times longer than before. Switching zones permanently is not an option for me. /edit: Forgot to mention the serverperformance on peak periods is pretty awful.
