Dear All, Progress is a newly formed guild with high aspirations, formed from the core raider and leadership base of Praise and Demise, both of which were highly successful guilds. The leadership of both guilds have been joined by some additional officers who raided at a top level throughout retail (top 20 world raid boss kills through Vanilla - WotLK and beyond). What we can give you First and foremost, you will have fairness. Everyone is given loot in accordance with their contribution to the guild's success; there is no "clique" of players who receive all items simply because they know someone high up in the guild. We acknowledge that you are playing this game in your free time and you will not be taken for granted. As a Trial in the guild [and hopefully, a future member], you will have the opportunity to play alongside some of the best players on Elysium and grow as a raider. We do not expect you to top the dps or heal charts immediately on joining and nor do we expect you never to make a mistake. What we do expect is that you continue to improve over time and are willing to listen and adopt advice from the officers and class leaders to improve. We are not interested so much as to whether you have excellent gear, but rather that you have an attitude of constantly wanting to improve and that you put the guild first, because at the end of the day that's where success comes from over the passage of time. You will have a long term guild with a strong, stable, mature and skilled leadership that is willing to listen and act on your suggestions, if appropriate. We focus on our own goals and do not get distracted by what other guilds are doing. If another guild is experiencing success; that's fair play to them. That just means we strive harder to create our own success. More information about the guild We are a hardcore raiding guild. The aim of the guild is to constantly improve whilst also being highly competitive on the World Boss scene. Whilst we hold the fastest MC clear time, we know we can do better with the right people. We are a guild that highly values our members. The Officers and Class Leaders are established to support the members to become the best players that they can, which translates into a stronger guild. The officers, like many of Progress' members have long term experience of leading top guilds both on retail and pivate servers. The guild will continue to be successful into the long term future and hopes to be the guild with the fastest Naxxramas clear time. To achieve that, we are looking for players that intend to stick around for a long time, that we can invest in so that everyone can share in the benefits of skilled play. While a large focus is placed on raiding, the guild is also a community. The leadership is transparent, friendly and simply wants each member to achieve their potential and have a place in the guild. Not only from a raiding point of view, but also so that the members feel part of a community. We are not a guild that takes significant decisions without consulting the membership first and if you have any concerns at all, no matter how minor, everyone is encouraged to message an officer, or simply say what you feel.
