I'm looking for some clarification on this conversation I had with a GM or at least someone who is claiming to be (GM tag not appearing in chat, but I think it's because I'm using WIM)
There's a couple ways this conversation could be interpreted and I'm curious as to what is the actual stance of Elysium.
1. The GM is being literal, I will get banned for killing mobs that the opposite faction need for a quest if I farm them for longer than an hour. I thought only killing Quest givers for an extended period of time is against the rules. If killing any mob that is a part of a quest is against ToS wouldn't farming the Fire Elementals in Stonetalon for example be against ToS because Horde players need them to complete this quest: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?quest=6393? The ToS specifically states "important quest NPCs" does this mean an important quest (the quest specific to this spot literally only rewards XP) or any NPC that is required in the completion of a quest, including mobs?
2. The GM is requesting that I move farming spots / cut down on the time I spend at this farming spot because they're getting tickets that opposing faction players can't complete the quest while I'm farming (in reality they can, there is a PvP solution). My compliance is optional.
3. This is someone impersonating a GM.
If the situation is specific to the spot I was farming at why is that so? Preferably without disclosing the actual spot as I quite like farming there as it's not popular.
