Nethergarde has been pretty good so far. Average pop has been 1500 and everything is blizzlike so if you want some nostalgia, go ahead and create a characters. I saw some guy roleplaying the other night lol.

Lupos no longer does shadow damage on the Nighthaven realm, because it is currently at a version where Lupos shadow damage was changed back to normal damage. On the fresh server (Nethergarde), however, I think Lupos will be doing shadow damage.

I have a question. I restored characters from Anathema to Elysium, but Elysium was taken down due to lack of interest. Now, when you implement this character restore, is it going to restore automatically or do you have to go to the main page one the website and choose each character that you want to restore. I'm using the same account on Nighthaven that I was using on Elysium, and I don't want to overwrite characters accidentally.

I don't think so. I remember the Nostalrius merge where they made a website to transfer characters. The creators of Nostalrius actually took down the website almost immediately and they cut off contact with Elysium because the Nostalrius' creators had a vendetta maybe? I think the only characters that can be transferred are the ones on Lights Hope before the split between Elysium developers.

Why is there no responses on this topic. I would absolutely be in FAVOR of a pre October 2017 merge into the current Nighthaven servers. I have a question though, I have an account with 60s from the pre-October 2017 realms. When it was clear that elysium did not want to merge pre-October 2017 realms, I went and created brand new characters on the SAME account. If elysium decided to go through with this merge, which characters from this account would be overwritten?

I've got a few tips 1) If you're herbalism, try to auction house everything you gather. A big one is grave moss that can sell for 6+ gold for a stack. Swiftthistle also sells very well. 2) Auction house all of your greens. To reduce the amount of money lost via deposits, create an alt which will bid on said item. For example, a level 40 green has a deposit of 40-50 silver. If you put it on the auction house with a 25 silver bid and have your alt bid on it, you'll only lose 5% of the bid rather than the full 40-50 silver. Once in a while, you'll make a good sale for 3-5 gold if someone needs the equipment especially if its a weapon. 3) Download Autoprofit addon which will make selling grays a lot quicker and easier. Sometimes, being able to afford a mount all comes down to a lucky blue world drop as they usually auction for 10-15 gold.

World griefing is actually a big problem and it makes the game unplayable. Try going into the badlands or Stranglethorn vale where the corpse runs are obnoxious. I'm averaging 13-14 hours a level now partially thanks to the long corpse run and assholes who love to camp lowbies.

I wanted a type out a personal thank you to the staff at Elysium for trying hard in restoring our characters on Stratholme. Right now, the server is up and running with about 100 logged in currently with hopefully more on their way. I look forward to playing Wow on your server. Thanks a bunch!

I certainly hope so. Light's hope banned both of my level 60 characters and I don't feel like starting over from scratch:(. I'm very much ok with a rollback.

Why even waste effort on this sort of thing? What does it do exactly, cut down the dungeon by about 15 minutes.
