so i came in new to this just shortly before Nighthaven release.. and so started fresh on Nighthaven after rolling a toon on Darrowshire for like 2 days.. (hey I cant read everything in teh forums )..having not played retail WOW for maybe 4 years or so.. Turns out I dont miss Vanilla.. the running up and down the barrens.. I must have criss crossed that place in every conceiveable direction trying to eek out every bit of XP. I cant handle the jogging sim! However it did lead me to retail and I just re-subbed and bought Legion. .. probably makes me a milk drinker in the eyes of the purists. i think it is a great idea and a thankless task for those behind the scenes so wish you all the best and maybe one day ill shed the dummy and man up for vanilla..

yes indeed and I got the email confirmation through and actioned.. Have new hurdle .. "disconneted from server" when I try to log in .. I have doubled checked the wtf file.. Edit - still have the issue - did the following meanwhile: I deleted the WDB folder and the config file from WTF as suggested in another post. confirmed version is 1.12.1 Edit 2 Logged in -deleted game files again and refreshsed extract to a different location - whether thats the solution or coincidence.. no clue.

I tried replacing the FMOD and Divxdecoder files but that didnt work I then deleted the folder and extracted fresh and it launches now Just need account verification email to play - ill be patient. :)

created game account no verification email received (bt account) control panel returns "oh something went wrong" "Internal server error" + launching wow.exe missing Fmod.dll file missing divxdecoder.dll anything special i need to consider here or can i go hunt the files? Do they have to be specific the game? thanks
